What's more important. Saying that you believe in God or living like you believe in God? Surely an atheist who lives like Christ won't go to hell. That would be a waste.

That is not my problem. My problem is the pressure and stigmatizing that happens when you are not baptized. As if you were somehow lost. As if the whole thing is necessary. It's a ceremony to prove to others that you are a believer. If God is all knowing why do you have to prove anything?

If sin is separation from God, then sin is freedom.

I grew up in an Adventist upbringing and as an atheist now, adult baptism seems to be the only ethical thing to do. I don't think anyone should baptize or circumcise people before they can't freely make that decision for themselves.

If I believed in a God, I wouldn't care. If he is an interventionist, all of the stuff he has done so far has failed so why bother. If he is a noninterventionist he clearly does not care about humanity so why believe in him?

The real question is, who made people believe that God and morality are compatible ideas? lol

I would if I didn't live in California. There are big efforts to block whatever Trump plans on doing. It just means that the programs he cuts will have to be paid by the government of California.
