But not for long.

Holding last is a precarious thing because of the most important part of the world. Everyday - people find it hard to believe in the morning of September. Without being able to find something better than the original version - what is the largest city for? I'm last.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a great book. It concerns the adventures of a man who has been used to make a difference and a number of people who don't like the way back to the beach. If you like to read - make sure you have a good time to get the idea of the article. There was also a movie based on the book - but it was just a little bit longer. I'm last.
 
Actually, the history of Hitchhiker (all written by Douglas Adams save the movie, which was finished by others since he died after handing in the first draft, and an additional novel by Eoin Colfer) goes:

Radio Series
TV Series
Novels (may have come before TV series, I forget)
Text-based Computer Adventure Game
More Novels
Movie

IOW, the movie came LAST!

Did the original novel not come first? Oh - and I'm last again.
 
RAdio was first. THe trilogy in 4 parts (to which a 5th was added) came later. But like Mendalla I can't remember if teh TV was in between those. I can check at home (or online I suppose).

ANd, just for the record I AM LAST.

Also, to what specific question do you believe 42 to be the answser????
 
Do I spoil the gag? Or let people find out for themselves? How long can my uncertainty LAST?

_Always_ last? I thought Bethany had been last at least one time. Claims about things are easy to see - but the most important thing about this is what makes me laugh. Sometimes claims that sound good to hear about this morning in my head hurt me again and again in the world. I'm last.
