Politics, Mrs A, ends up being about appearances regardless of who's in charge. Personally, I'd rather see energy spent on things that actually improve people's day-to-day lives.

Public spending and priorities are worth discussing on their own merits

A person can have all the right outward forms, Luce, and still be far from Christ, while someone with no worldly influence's walking faithfully with Him.

That's why I think the MOVING POINT's about whether our values are rooted in God's truth. Core values like humility, love, integrity and FAITHFULNESS endure long after the arguments and politics have faded.

For me, that's a good reminder to focus on the heart's condition, both in others and in myself
