How did this get here?

Like can anything happen as so much is rejected? Thus vast integrals of matter out and about ... going perturbations!

NOTE: Many cannot receive what matter they dish out as fertile ... and thus it becomes immaterial and energetic ... according to E=mcsquared ... and who was delegated to MC? Gatekeeper ... pede ology? Venerable Bede, or that just be-ID ... and we didn't know ...

I ... myself as't it ... in following ...

May relate breath of air with breast breaking the surface there ... merrily it waves ... and as the poet declared men go down to the Zae ...

Shanghaied? That also ... as it is hard to go back after getting into the unknown with delight ... strange eh? Amour is like that ... out on it the hounds roll ... basking in the odd hours ... some say retain it as ineffable and thus the consequence ... really not understood! Some will declare they know ... thou' ...

Leave a story it is critical ...

@chanse is absolutely right.
I could have stopped needling @Jaebius and this thread might have steadied itself.

Sorry all. Not sleeping due to cough but not an excuse.

Thanks for reminding me

I'm reminding you that this is what Jae does. Once he finds a weak spot he will press his attack. He probably understands his argument is ridiculous, but it gets you worked up so he'll double down.

You are not needling him in this thread, at all. You can argue that I was proactively "needling" him in the thread your quote is from, but that isn't happening here. You are getting angry with him. He always goes through spells where he will provoke anger, often over weird things.

I can't blame your anger because he is tarring Canadians as "traitors" over making purchasing decisions that are often out of their control. That's insane. I didn't respond because I could see what he was trying for.

But you'd rather faux-blame yourself and equate your anger with my "needling" him, than admit I had anything resembling a point. And hey, maybe I went a little far there and mistimed my comments, but I think you forget what he does, perhaps because it's not often aimed at you. This time it was. Congrats.

I don't know, chansen, I may not be calling anyone traitors. I'm waiting on @Redbaron's answer

Your question has already been answered by two other posters. If you can’t figure it out from them, nothing I can say will make it clearer.
Please remember the warning.

Redbaron, you haven't answered my question to you.

Here's another. Where in the Guidelines does it say anything against using words correctly. I've given a definition from Webster's.

I look forward to your answers

Hope people will extend me the same charity I extend them, chansen, and assume I'm speaking from conviction.

Honestly, I'd much rather have a conversation about why people disagree than spend too much time trying to diagnose one another's intentions.

Let's leave room for the possibility that other people make arguments we disagree with without those arguments being an attempt to anger everyone around them.

Grace goes both ways

Your question has been answered.
Redbaron, you're missing what I was actually asking for.

I was looking for your response. A discussion's interesting part's getting to grasp how you arrived at your thinking.

You could simply point to which of the answers from other posters best represents your view and explain why.

You should be the person most eager to explain and defend your thinking

We are not in an actual war. Buying some American products can remind those producers how important we are to them and encourage them to push against Trump. Maintaining good relationships with the people undermines their leadership. Our tariff policies hit the states that are the strongest supporters of Trump.

Do not shoot our friends on the other side.
Supporting Canadian businesses, jim, strengthens our economy, protects Canadian jobs and makes us less dependent on a country whose leadership has repeatedly bullied us

Surely all Canadians are called to support their neighbours, local workers and Canadian companies whenever they can.

I care enough about the Canadian/American relationship to want it built on mutual respect

Enough said there was no thought there anyway ... religion, etc. requires not thought ... just that other thing ... it is unresolvable at present ...

Thought patterns and other gatherings are deficient in such domains where there is no question allowed ... thus thought is out there ... banished because of the old wise lady was left ... without the spine ... something to turn on ... whipper snipping!

t all comes down to this, folks - we're at war with the United States of America. Do not shop American! To do so is to be a traitor to Canada
Everyday Canadians are not at war with everyday United States Americans.

Political actors chose confrontation.

The economic consequences land on people who had no direct role in the negotiations.

Have made the conscious decision, WhyCzar, to stop buying American products.

Choosing to buy Canadian and support Canadian goods's about faithful stewardship and standing up for Canada when America's collective choices threaten our livelihood.

Every dollar we spend's a vote for the world and economy we want to cultivate.

Love without active stewardship and boundary-setting', WhyCzar, is just wishful thinking.

Supporting Canada's economy's a moral response to reality
