Its because the winners gather power of physical wealth and give little value to any lessor virtue ... and thus thoughts sinks like crap ... i.e. how knowledge and associated stuff that is referred to as little value ends up down there in the heap ...

In such delinquency the bottom regularly falls out as fresh knowledge flows by the creature forming the bridge ... it may be transcalent in nature ... just passing in lumps ... some declare it transcendent as it may go up and down with the levels, layers and all such as stacked on the Levi? Really just a groove in the landscape ... here it is said some disposed of thought sinks in ... subtle?
The transcendent truths, Luce, endure, even if hidden under layers.

God’s providence ensures that nothing truly good's lost.

Your reflection, Luce, makes me think. The bottom falling out's a reminder that human pride collapses, while divine wisdom remains

Howzit that while some animals, like the panda, raccoon, tiger, and giraffe have such distinct markings, others don't?

Guess because the Yankee dollar has more value compared to the Canuck buck
I recently purchased two 1.75 litre bottles Canadian Club in the US. at the price of 17.99 $US each.

36 $US dollars translates to approx 50 $CA.

Can you buy two 1.75 litre bottles of CC for 50 Cndn dollars in Canada?

Canadian whisky is usually more expensive in Canada because of high provincial liquor-board markups (often 140%+).

Plus higher federal excise taxes.

One has to back off severely to be an expert on anything ... if only for observational purposes. This does separate one from the immediate feelings.

Some complain that God has gone so far as to be infinite after too much feelings about the earthy creations ... thus the gap attributed to the distance between statistics and what the lowly emperor would like to extract for being an example of a non-thinker ... an ideal emotionalist?

There is a click that sense one should get right in to it to know anything about innate workings ... great physical powers deny that because they hate anyone knowing what they have for small thoughts that would fit in a wee man ... albeit with an oversized container ...

The distant mystery had to put them somewhere if they were outside the abstract ... dark-aye? Like the African Queen of myth that can creep you in the night ... imagine nun's doing nothing ... enter the story that no one knows anything about ... because some emperor declared the common folk shouldn't know the business of those up there ... where? Its ineffable without doubt ... messing with god's carrier ... it is bound to return ... a come back at Yah item? Concern: once known as a bother, worry or labor like An*nai ... phone et*ics are critical and you have to know the wise qui as a vast spread of word ...

Wise qui can open a clam ... ask the molluscum lady ... as you hold her to your ear ... lo' a hiss as thought leaks out. Some world leader get really upset about such weep age ... time is an element along with the other 5!

Anybody else been out there ... near the dead zone? They say it is common when climbing mountains ... thus sun sets ... the hanging thing may comedown as a participle ... how "the" goes when adrift from getting in the opposed.

Sometime lack of inhibitions and the duo maybe right out of it ... learning something about alien spots? No body ever speaks of such things to the children ... because of reservations of you the information will come across ... thus leaving humanity in a state of extraction as thought goes ...

Time will tell ... the things that the great unknown will do to ensure quantum experience! The gift of life by chance ... perhaps ... perhaps not as some will never know ... they were without questions ... they just insisted on being undone ... because! It was passion consumed them ...

The other asked ... and they got it! Ephraim of know how ... like that American satirist ... sound it out! Then one knows how wrong the matter can be in essence ... it stuck!

There is no press freedom ... under the prodigal situation ... all freedoms are imagined ... because of a Roman intrusion with vast avarice; the dream of controlling everything so the great mystery of who is actually in control, gave this hard choice to sit on some dirt for a while with the command to teach those that wish not to learn or retain any intelligence. The option is to read into it with some understanding ... hypothetically!

The world is thus torched from time to time and then doused to see if anything can be drawn up ... dousers are like Dahls ... vessel on a perilous sea as Iran about in Pa-Niche ... type of paranoia about being dragged out? PTSD ... ephemeral thing about degassing and deflating ... redoing it as you go? Midnight Err Oozes ... eroded? Everything wears but nothing ... find someone with nothing ... expect some opposition as the process proceeds pretentiously with the planting thins of alien nature ... unknowns?

Howzit that there are realistic statues and busks of Aristotle, Alexander the great and Julius Ceasar but not of a realistic Jesus?

Well, first off, we have no idea how realistic those are. A lot of the Alexander and Caesar ones are almost certainly idealized, even ones that are close to contemporary. Public art was more propaganda than realistic portraiture. Even the ones we have of old Aristotle seem suspiciously "generic philosopher" at times. But those were all people who were prominent in society and two of them, Alexander and Caesar, were men of power so natural subjects for public and private art.

Jesus was basically a nobody for a couple centuries after his death and being a Jew in the Roman period, was so far from the corridors of power that no one would have bothered to do a sculpture of him. It was only after Christianity rose to prominence in the 4th century CE and claimed him as their "founder" (even if Paul probably had more to do with founding the church we got than Jesus himself) that you had public art of Jesus being made. In an era with no photography, though, no one actually knew what he looked like anymore so you naturally got idealized portraits based on the private art that had been made during the era of persecution.

So I think it actually makes perfect sense.

Howzit Canada’s public funding for news media is substantially larger and more central than in the US?
Because we followed the UK model and started a public radio network that then spawned a public television network. We have also, right or wrongly, believed that maintaining Canadian voices in the media is important to counteract the very loud voices coming from South of us. So you have things like subsidies for mailing Canadian magazines and targeted protection for Canadian media to ensure the US can't outcompete them. Unfortunately, that has also resulted in media concentration in a few hands (e.g. Bell owning CTV and the Globe as well as national wired and wireless communications networks).

Those guys all existed.
That's hardly a factor. Look how many Roman and Greek statues there are of mythological figures or semi-legendary figures. Even the busts we have of Homer owe more to traditions about him than any reality. And his existence is open to question as well given the nature of the texts (recorded oral traditions) attributed to him. Statues of Jesus appear once he becomes important. That's what matters more than his reality or lack thereof.

Howzit that provincial governments were allowed to pull legal imports from shelves and directly restrict consumer choice without consumer input?

Howzit that by restocking it later as a “gesture of good faith” in trade talks erases the original decision to treat ordinary buyers as secondary to political leverage?

Because we have laws regulating the sale of alcohol, including provincial control of those sales. Can't speak to other provinces, but in Ontario, the distribution system is controlled by the government, including distribution to stores that have been licensed to sell booze. A distributor of a product is free to pull that product from distribution as long as they accept the loss of revenue incurred by doing so (which doesn't seem to be happening in this case since Canadians are apparently voting with pocketbook anyhow). This is an unusual case, though. Usually, you would only do that for a health and safety recall or similar.
