There is a notion that at some time in the future the entire world will become one large Eden. Eden comes from a Hebrew word meaning ultimately a pathway to perception of continuity/life. Jesus called Himself the path and entrance to the Kingdom. In other words, when Jesus said He and the Father were one, as we could be also, we are to reconnect ourselves to life, which always IS as our bodies and the seasons come and go. This, rather than disconnecting ourselves and seeing ourselves as separate from God, thus denying ourselves eternal life, being only dead ends. Eden of the future is anytime we reject our divisiveness and rejoin life, letting His Kingdom come and His Will be done, rejecting the temptations and evil that the selfishness of separation from Him/life brings.

Now -------Your Sanctification is an on going process as it requires you to Mature in your Faith walk with Christ and you have the indwelling Holy Spirit to help you in your Maturing process ------ but your destination in the Kingdom of God in Heaven is secured ----

The prophets used Eden to depict restoration. Jesus is restoration.
We are part way as we have reunited ourselves with God but God has not yet returned to us other than within us.
John 17:21–23 is speaking of us no longer seeing ourselves as separate from God, no longer seeing ourselves as the min-gods the serpent said we would. We are unified in HIS purpose rather than 8 billion (at present) of our own.

Fruit is in realizing that the truth lies in Jesus' only gospel, the Gospel of the Kingdom and may be found in theology and the institutional churches but which as you say, goes nowhere to help people understand God or His word ------it is just a bunch of NOISE
We are all togglers, learning to walk until we find our way to the Kingdom, understanding we are apart of it and not separate,
I follow the Gospel of the Kingdom. If you want to talk about flipping a switch to confuse God's word then i suggest questioning why a new Gentile institutionalized religion 1700 years ago abandoned the Kingdom and Jesus' only gospel to follow another that allowed them to reunite with the governments of man and emulate them and not the kingdom. To this day they have refused to apologize for this misdirection and everything is still directed at condemning those of the Kingdom for shedding light on their betrayal. It is a pity they lost the right to burn at the stake to maintain their earthly power.
As for GRACE, God gave us an opportunity to repent of this rebellious and adversarial nature which even eventually misdirected Christianity, and allowed us resurrection by way of Jesus so that those who followed His Will rather than our own will and proved it by our fruits, not just lip service and rituals, to be given a chance to escape the dead end we created for ourselves in the Garden. Grace allowed us a way past the original punishment of death.
We must first, as God says, seek Him constantly. In doing so we will come to the point where we understand why our self-serving ways are not only not His ways, but the reason for all evil in earth. If we then compare the wisdom of His second commandment as a replacement to selfishness, then we will have found His truth and we will willingly proclaim allegiance to Him and not to the adversity of both elohim and mankind. You know, systems and societal norms of a world we have created in our own selfish image, rather than in the image of God. A world where we prefer to use God to serve our purposes rather than change ourselves to serve His. Of course in this day and age where 'self' has become so rampant, people are ignoring God or religion altogether and rebelling against the teachings of their ancestral lines, as self-entitlement rules the world and the chaos builds.
Whether we are smart enough to seek something greater than ourselves on our own or as some believe God wakes us up will always be a matter of debate between religious factions, and quite frankly yet another rabbit trail that leads us further away from the Kingdom.
