And I have been married or equivalent three times. I do what I wish to do. I am lucky perhaps. I don't watch TV nor do I listen to commercial radio, nor read magazines or other print media. I feel no siren call to purchase anything beyond home renovation materials, basic groceries (no processed food;, lean meat, vegetables, fruit, plain dairy, lots of fermented foods, I bake bread). I like Ontario craft beer. I hear the news on CBC four or five times a day. Cults exist; I suspect one must be in a vulnerable place to be seduced by them. Propaganda? Well, perhaps Rita thinks the CBC is propaganda, but I find it fairly balanced. I glance at BBC, The Guardian and Al Jazeera.

I didn’t say that. But let’s face it, all of society are followers of trends. Those happen through influence over time. Some good, some bad. We all change through others’ influence. Some influences are best avoided - and some people can be very very covertly manipulative about pulling you in.

If you’ve never changed anything you think because of anyone else, that’s unnatural. Superhuman. I doubt it. Unless you were born in the woods and raised yourself. But then somebody would’ve had to teach you to speak and read and learn and adapt to modernity.

Have you ever lived in a hard scrabble place? Norms are different.

I do not want violent minded people trying to influence me to think their way. Even them trying to is disturbing. Satire is as far as it goes.

If you’ve noticed, violent attitudes have gotten worse everywhere. Even pacifist Jim has talked about getting a gun license.

I had an English Literature Authority get really angry at me for using OLD English Gothic in a script ... it involved Eris 'n activities! Sometimes it gets me up in the mornings with the Black Birds ... it is even laid out in hymn ...

Did God give a song ... was it light or Levite ... vitalized? Some of it is even multilinear and not so overhanded ... thus kewed ... read between the lines ... me?
