I had 1 pail of apples left in the hallway to deal with so decided today was the day. There were 5-6 completely rotten ones :P and a few half rotten ones :P so I salvages what I could and made 2 cups of applesauce
 
I received an etransfer after lunch for a weird amount from someone I don't know and the note just says to reference the email she sent earlier this morning. I did not get an email from that name or about that amount so I have no idea what this is for, and because it's an oddball amount, it COULD be for ads, but I don't know because I didn't get the email, nor can I find anyone who may know the person. Quite the mystery.
 
All things are figural ... given enough time and wend ... why some scripts declare our need to be patient ... until break-out ...

Still no idea who sent the money or for what. Meeting in a couple of hours with the gal who offered to help me print the paper.
 
Mystery money. That's one I've never heard of before. Maybe you'll have to put an ad in the paper to find out who sent you money for an ad in the paper. :giggle:
 
Today's meeting was a waste of time - she didn't have any cost numbers (that was the POINT of the meeting today) and there was other info she didn't have for me...she did print a sample because I had a file on a stick ready otherwise she wasn't planning on that. Only reason why it all worked out was that I was able to get xmas greetings from the businesses in Trochu, Elnora, and Delburne so I don't have to make an extra trip in Nov. Also, I was able to get groceries on my way home. She hopes to have the price quotes emailed to me this afternoon.
 
Got the prices and they are really, really good and will enable me to keep going!!!!!! (and I have a plan B if this doesn't end up working out). I will have to drive the hour to print myself, but she's willing to hold my hand for the first two printings for sure till I get it all figured out. She had originally told me it would be a 7-8 hr print job when she saw what I actually wanted and discovered my files are so simple and clean, she said it should take a hour or maybe more to print the 500 copies - which is much better for me. Fingers crossed! Now I just need another $1500 to pay off the press (less if I knew what the mystery money is for and if it really is mine!)
 
If you were a mystery writer, you could probably get a story of this money thing. (actually, someone getting money that they don't know why, who, or how is something I think I toyed with in a story once but never got it off the ground)

I think that the $500 rent payment that I lost last year has migrated west.
