I’m so angry about it.

Luce - have you heard of Cassandra. She was given a gift and a curse by Apollo to be able to predict the future but no one would believe her. I feel like that. Except I use logic, experience of systemic ableism, and historical basis, not magic or premonition. Nobody believed that I did that either.

Because of ableism nobody takes disabled people seriously when we have valid points to make. They treat it as a courtesy to even listen at all.
 
Carney has said nothing about MAiD expansion or UN concerns. He’s just a talking suit. He’s not doing much and if he does nothing about that afaic he’s complicit in the worst law that’s existed since before my lifetime.

Anyone who thinks Canada will be able to distance itself enough from what Trump’s doing, to insulate ourselves once he goes full tilt, is an ignoramus. People need to start getting uncomfortable and speaking up about what’s already happening here, if we’re to have any hope of getting through it in one piece.

Criminalizing homelessness and forcing people into treatment (if such facilities even exist--if not will they simply be incarcerated?) will solve what exactly? Where is the EO mandating an vast increase in supportive housing, fully funded addiction treatment, and mental health supports -- again properly funded so that people in actual need of medication but without income will actually be able to get it??

Given that stupidity is the most contagious of mental enigmas ... is it prone to nothing and thus keeping the way open to the end of it? (follows the 1st command: keep the way clear)

It is clear that the brutes, etc. do lose it ...

Be like brutes they say ... "lose it"! So IT goes ... and no one knew why, etc. It is a common trend as thinking is a pain ... mindlessness is better ... I've been told that by academia teaching methods of moral and ethical observation (a hated science)!

"Don' t look" is the word ... thus blind BS flies ... Salvadori Dali made images of the missing ... in one case a large delinquent hoars man with a cold core ... Black Holei Syndrome ...

Canada is already the world leader when it comes to it's dystopian replacement for care services, exchanging social welfare for euthanasia. Is that Trump's fault?

No right of refusal for health directives when it becomes a corresponding duty - sound familiar?
 
Culpability and awareness do not seem to be compatible when you consider the irritation that WOKE brings into context ...

Thus some express it as; "its best you don't know about it"! Thus these thoughts slip about ... it may have something to do with relating mental items with vipers ... some toxic, some not ...

It’s the movement and growth of fascism that was evident even before he got on his golden escalator. It’s not like they got into a room together and plotted it - although that may have happened with political influencers planting seeds here and there and they grew. It’s more like there was a far right wing wave and as it swelled with attitude politicians and people rode it and continued to manipulate it with propaganda, often unconsciously. Trump’s ego has been a useful tool to build that wave in North America.

If you look at history, the eugenics movement was popular in North America and UK and then Hitler liked it so much he borrowed it and made it exponentially deadlier. The MAiD lobby knows that - they’re either sticking their heads in the sand, or nefarious, or some of each - because at this point it’s easy to see serious problems with it. Even the UN is raising alarm that they’re ignoring. That is the potential to be wary about because our laws are already so lax and open to interpretation they’re primed for disaster - which the Canadian public dismissed but disabled people were always aware of when the first MAiD laws were brought in.

With laws like involuntary treatment already on the books here, and the expansion of MAiD, if authoritarian politicians and attitudes grow (which will happen politely here as always then the mainstream fails to notice until travesty has already happened - not unlike the German public in WW2 really) we’re in trouble. To make us safer from that potential, MAiD policy is the first thing that needs to be repealed, for public safety. But the public is still ignorant of that.

Since the beginning of the far right wave - MAiD laws were never “safe”from exploitation. We’ve already seen it with continued expansion. And they’re being pushed around the world - Canada being a horrific example already being set.

Forget it. I started to but I’m not arguing about vaccines. Anti-MAiD is about keeping others in society, not just ourselves and immediate families, safe from unnecessary harm and death because of discriminatory attitudes that become normalized.

I agree. Take the case of Kayla Pollock who was offered MAID 3x since she became paralyzed because of the discriminatory attitudes that became normalized.

Yes and many others have been offered it or been killed by MAiD - one person with hearing loss had MAiD, one person with bedsores had MAiD, one person seeking psychiatric help was offered it - numerous people because of socioeconomics. There are many now but it’s almost surely way underreported given that there are marginalized people accessing it and we know social isolation is a factor.Those are only the cases that went public. But you’ll hone in on one person who got sick from the vaccine won’t you? You’re being a smug jerk. You have your own agenda, forget it. You don’t actually give a s**t about this or disabled people.

This WHO cannot know for the corruption involved by runaway democrats that are really covered emperors! (by covenant; meaning they do not have the substance to change their toxic behavior ... thus true lies there, it scriptural for those immensely literate instead of literal)
