It looks like the journalist is releasing the texts now. He has shared the screenshots of the texts on The Atlantic

Might as well at this point. The attack has already happened so its not like it will get anyone killed.

He has apparently left out some critical details at the advice of lawyers and CIA.

I really need to subscribe to The Atlantic....

Accountability is a terrible responsibility to those that are passionate about only ONE thing ... the God of self ... itself a Leonis tic disaster that you have to visit for a time to understand the wish for conclusion and the death desire! Then like the god of the Gap ... you too are totally out of here through relations with the ignorance function ... it is popular as the expression: "I don't wish to know that"!

So it went, or there it goes ... another prodigal life ... disvalued to nothing by degradation ... deflationary claws? They come out of nowhere ... flying like an eagle ...

Saint 'd clause ... abstract impression of a character in a red fabrication ... opposed the white suite ... spotless law or a butcher? If balanced it can be put down ... bureaucracy can destroy anything ... if without responsibility for the opposite side. The reification ... poorly defined they say ... like Ca in place ... Cayan ... spirit of the unseen Han ...

Entertains the phantoms ... Ph' Anis ... they'b ummers ... the beans ... like Mexicans and some prefer deportations ... closed 'orans ... orient 'S!

Nothing to it ... Acton ick ... tonick resembling a potion by times ... found in small vials and other tiny places ... like appendix ... Toby apprehended ... as Liam ...

Trumps press secretary sure has a way of spinning the whole fiasco....she's starting to remind me of a Stepford Wife....
Interesting how the Republicans never admit they're wrong.....of course they never let Hillary forget about her emails for 4 years either....because they know better when it's somebody else.

The ultimate freedom to do what you wish without responsibility is destroyed ... an unaccountable confinement according to one side ...

"The Passing Signal Psychodrama" posted on X by Victor Davis Hanson asked these questions:

Did Goldberg know the mechanisms that had prompted and continued his stealthy presence on the secure discussions?

Why did citizen Goldberg not simply come clean on day one that he realized he was mistakenly included in key national security conference communications, to which he did not belong, and thus should be obviously excluded immediately?

Why stealthily listen in for eleven some days?

Was the idea of informing his hosts of his own improper presence too old-fashioned morality?

SO a blatant attempt to hide the utter incompetence of the officials who should not even have been using that platform for this discussion (other writers have also pointed out the absence of key people like the Joint Chiefs of Staff and POTUS in teh decision tree as well) this is an attempt to blame the whistleblower for the whole thing...

How do normal adult human beings with a functioning brain actually think any of these "whistleblowers" being platformed are legit, given how Assange and Snowden were treated?

Oh, PLEASE.....a reporter that gets a good story dropped in his lap is going to help cover a big mistake caused by the government in power? I thought you wanted more truth?

It's a good thing he's a professional journalist with ethics. He could have released more information. The dumbasses that used that platform and the dumbass who invited him need to be fired.

One way to distinguish between a real crisis and a manufactured crisis is to see if people still care a week later.

I'll wait.
Depends on what you call a real crisis.....it's possible that respect and confidence can be lost, from whoever has to take orders from those still in charge of National defence ....is that a crisis to you?
Something that simmers to a slow boil below the surface doesn't always go away and it's not always something you see immediately. Especially when people realize their lives (and their families) were possibly endangered by using inept leadership followed by no attempts to correct that mistake with placing more competent leaders in charge.
To me it's a crisis.
