The world seems to be following a pattern doesn't it? And Pollievre will probably be encouraged by Trumps win.
Maybe it's time the NDP gives it their best shot.....after all, people want change but Canadians, the same as most countries when they have an election, tend to think change has to mean "extreme radical change". What if the NDP offered change without being radical?

Christians are going to try to legislate their version of Christian morality. It's a Christian Taliban. Atheists, for one group, have not signed up for that.

This is going to backfire spectacularly on Christianity. The only way it can't, is if the US creates their own goon squads to enforce it. And who is betting against that?

Honestly, speaking on behalf of those who don't share it, go and practice it. But the moment you try to force it on others through laws, f*** your religion.
 
The NDP likely doesn't have a chance in the west. People feel that Singh is essentially in bed with Trudeau so don't like him. There are of course pockets where the NDP would have a chance. Overall though, the NDP has historically been seen as socialist and the like out here.

I hear and feel profound sadness. I'm Canadian, so the only direct threat to me is this movement spreads north of the border. I am sad for America. This isn't what many Americans signed up for. It's not even freedom. It's the freedom of Christians to enshrine their views in legislation, and for Trump to attempt to get payback on those who charged and convicted him of crimes he committed. When that doesn't happen easily, he'll get distracted and move on.

But in the long run, this will bite your faith in the ass. We can revisit this in four years.

Best way to know what you’re eating is to know your farmer! I prefer repealing laws that prevent small farmers from being successful, as opposed to labeling laws. The organic labeling laws have been an abject failure.

Some information that passed my eyes this morning; the generation of a 4 B order due to the lesser fey organism being placed on ignore by Trump.
