Anyway, yes 7 years ago, there was the Revelation 12 sign, and at that point I thought, I don’t think any other sign will ever come closer to checking that off so perfectly.
And now things are happening so quickly.
So many Old Testament prophecies that were esoteric now seem obvious.
Feast of trumpets starts Oct 2, 2024. Which is today over here. Many believe it signals Daniel’s 70th week. So somewhere in 2031 would be the end.
But if you want to have a good argument, get informed before the lights go out.

Which particular translation contains NO contradictions?
On biblegateway we have most translations available, with the exception of the couple that are copyright protected (The Inclusive Bible, The Five Gospels). I have probably 10 different versions in my personal library. Every single one of them has Jesus saying both "those who are not with me are against me" (Matthew 12:30) and "those who are not against me are with me" (Luke 11:23).

Every Wednesday morning of my life, except July and August, I attend Bible Study. We have adopted an RCC process called lectio divina, where we read a passage (almost always that week's lectionary New Testament gospel reading), three times, each time focussing on a different question (1. What word/passage/emotion struck you? 2. How might this reading apply to life today? 3. What is this passage telling YOU to "do" or "be"?) We've further modified this by making each reading from a different translation (often, the NRSV, then The Inclusive Bible, then The Message), and we've got one or two members with a Greek/English side by side.
You learn a lot about biblical translation, and sheer breadth of participant belief, with this process. It's cool.

Maybe Babylon just actually means Babylon and when Jesus talks about destruction he's referring to the destruction of the Temple in 70 CE which he mentions in the Olivet Discourse.
Did the sun darken when he died and also earthquakes when he was crucified and after he died didn't he "come again" and seen walking around by 500 people?
History repeats itself and maybe that's why this scenario sounds familiar, generation after generation and the warning still stands.

Jae some of what your saying here is judging you -----I am simply saying Preach Truth --Not what you think is truth -----Peoples eternal lives are at stake and your the preacher in charge of preparing your Flock hopefully to an Eternal Life not Eternal death
God gives a warning to Preachers --teachers of His word -----so take heed to it as you will be judge more harshly by God in your end for not preaching truth -----I am trying to warn you of this

What does James 3:1 mean?
Here, James launches into a new passage about controlling our words. He will connect this to the main idea of the chapter 2. This theme was that saving faith in God always leads to a believer participating in good works. As James notes in this very chapter, this does not mean perfection (James 3:2), but it does mean our deeds and words should reflect our faith in God.James starts, however, with a warning about taking on the title of "teacher." Not many Christians should aspire to be labelled as teachers, James writes. Those who claim the mantle of a teacher will face stricter judgment or "will be judged with greater strictness." The more one claims to know, the more accountable they are held for what they do with that knowledge (John 9:41).
Bible scholars speculate that James's warning was in response to a problem with too many self-titled teachers in the early Christian church. It could be that some truly thought they were wise, when they were still immature in their faith. It's also possible some desired the respect given to teachers, but didn't have either the spiritual gift of teaching or a lifestyle that reflected the truths of Christianity.
James is not suggesting that nobody should become a teacher. It is a much needed role in the church, and God empowers specific individuals to fill it (1 Corinthians 12:28; Romans 12:7; Ephesians 4:11). In the church, teachers are meant to help make the Word of God clear to other Christians.
A teacher's job, specifically, is not to prophesy or reveal new truths from God. Instead, they do the work of taking what has been revealed and making it easier to understand and follow.
As James makes clear, "teacher" is not a role which should be taken lightly. Teachers will face a stricter judgment.
They will be held accountable to live by the truth they teach, as well as being responsible not to lead people away from God's Word with their own words.
The more a person claims to know, the more they are held accountable for acting according to that knowledge. And, the more a person claims the authority to teach, the more accountable they will be for how they lead—or mislead—other people.
As the next verses will reveal, this is a heady responsibility. Our words can be alarmingly dangerous.

what Jesus is saying here is ----those who reject me are against me ------the pharisees rejected Jesus and were against Him ---
unbeliever reject Jesus so they are against Jesus -----
Jesus saying ----"those who are not against me are with me" (Luke 11:23).
What Jesus is saying here is ----- those who accept me are with me-----the Disciples were not against Jesus so they were with Jesus ---Believers are not against Jesus so they are with Jesus
No contradictions here ---these are 2 different sayings with 2 different meanings ---no Spiritual understanding and human confusion is the contradiction here ------
