Have no problem. You seem to...?
My problem is that you don't seem to be able to read my posts!
I said Paul and Stephen taught that God revealed the Law through His angelic representatives,
and you imexplcably seem to disagree with that; and you haven't explained why.

In Exodus 20: 1-17, God speaks the words we have come to call the Ten Commandments.

Interestingly enough, Jews, Catholics and Protestants all number them differently.

Snoopy's Snappy Review: Exodus 20: 1-17

A pivotal part of the story!

Does anyone else remember learning the Ten Commandments in Sunday school? There was a little ditty which served as a memory aid. It involved the fingers and the spaces between them. (Didn't really work for paws)

Snoopy never understood the meaning of two things. Graven image and adultery. :p

God seems to do a good job here of setting moral standards.

But isn't it interesting that 3 of the 10 commandments ( as Protestants number them) concern the relationship between God and the Israelites?

Specifically they are to have no other Gods before this God, to avoid making & serving graven images, and to avoid taking the Lord's name in vain.

Observing the Sabbath is one of the ten rules (Related to God resting on the seventh day when the world was created.) Also interesting, no?

No mention here of circumcision which God has previously demanded. No mention yet of the dietary laws to come later.

Lo I will be with you ALWAYS, to the end of the age.
Nice try GordW ----but this is not stating that God is always in the presents of what is called unclean

Jesus is speaking with His disciples here -----who will be indwelled with the Holy spirit and he is saying that He will be with the clean to the end of the age ----it does not says anything about being with the unclean to the end of the age -----

Matthew 28 is what your quoting from

The Great Commission

16;Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
17;When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

What 'I Will Be with You Always' Means

“...surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:20b
Yet now He promises that He will never leave them, even though He is clearly no longer physically present. How can that be?

Matthew 28:20

In order to truly understand this verse, we have to take a look at it in context with the two verses that come before it:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus holds all authority in heaven and on earth.

Jesus is encouraging the disciples that even though they will face hardships and even death because of following Him, He is still bigger than all of it. The world will continue to struggle with sin, but He offers a way to conquer sin and find a more meaningful life on earth that will lead to eternal life with Him.

You often say, Jesus died for our sins (uncleanlines) or do you just mean he died for some sins, not the ones that make you unclean? What does unclean mean to you?

You are right Jesus dies and took all sin for all people ---so now you have to access what Jesus has made available to all people -----how do you access this ---By receiving Jesus as your Lord and Saviour ---as per scripture -----

You are a sinner until you receive Jesus who paid the price for what we deserve -----

uncleanness includes not just sin but

HELPS Word-studies
Cognate: 2508 kathaírō – make clean by purging (removing undesirable elements); hence, "pruned (purged)"; eliminating what is fruitless by purifying (making unmixed).

in a moral sense, the impurity of lustful, luxurious, profligate living:

Have you achieved all that?

Here the ten commandments are given and the Israelites have already promised to keep the commands given ------

This does not go well for the Israelites

This reflects on us today as we sometimes are quick to tell God that we will do as he says and then find out that we fail at doing so ------

Moses was told to speak to the rock and water would pour out ----he failed to do as God requested ---He hit the rock with his staff and so failed to do as God asked -----God kept the israelites out of the promised land because Moses disobeyed God's command ----

Without deep Faith and total trust in God we will fail at keeping his Commands -----

The Israelites were God's chosen but they greatly lacked in their Faith and trust that God would look after them and now they are about to find out that they can't keep God's Commands as they promised they would -----

Have you achieved all that?
LOL

We as per Scripture --I have received Jesus as my Lord and Savior so my sins ---past --present and future are forgiven -----and I have Christ in me to help me stay clean ----God showers His children with Grace upon Grace ------and I have steadfast faith and trust in God to do as He says in His Word --

John 1:16 (AMP) “For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].”

anyone can have this ---it is available to all -----who will receive God's Son who paid the price for us -----

Do you want this Waterfall ?????? God's Son is there for you all you have to do is receive Him ----

Here's a question or two.

How completely does God expect us to adhere to these commandments? Is 100% compliance even possible?

Are all ten commandments equal in God's eyes?

The NT church replaced Sabbath worship with Sunday worship because Jesus' empty tomb was discovered on Sunday.
Now that we have Sunday worship, do we still think we are keeping Sabbath? Or are we doing something else?
