What do you do when winter is about to hit with a vengeance? Make soup and dumplings First attempt at making dumplings as an adult (as in all by myself) - not mom's recipe as I can't access her cookbooks right now so just found a simple recipe on the web.

That's what my mom did too - but very rarely as she wasn't a dumpling fan whereas I could eat them every day. Gramma made them on beef stew and sometimes on chicken soup
