My fav will always be Box of Rain. It was the last tune I played for Dave during my last visit the night before he died.

Jerry always matched. A black t-shirt goes with anything, LOL. He had such a sweet clear voice. A no-bulls**t voice.

Now I know the reason why the Deadhead happened today

Thank you for sharing this
What a wonderful song
*hug*

Is a deadhead a place for those dies for drawing the light into a place without light ... and thus tending to heavy hands? Well at least until the emotional baggage is placed in a sack and tossed over ... leaving ... what remains that is nothing ... those circles in the pool ...

Rings in the pool often mean nothing to those that do not look into what was dark and unknown waters ... there may be fading bright spots ... as a feint hint of a go round! God rest ye while the others destroy everything ... it is an urge in the powers ... like a bear in a hunny pot or other perceived spot of deficiency that may be in Eire ... know chit?

Read intuit ... I maybe saying something that was not great expectation ... an exception to roué elle? That's Hur ... on top of the pool ... the lady of the lake?

Tis dark and poetic as we can't speak of sources ... thus superbly twisted ... unbelievable and unknown proposition as postal sects ... giving birth to the unknowns ... they grow to not know when enough is enough --- Harold Bloom! (master of darker literature ... scares some asunder)

Psyche has enjoyed this for eons ... thus that far chuckle ... deep in Timaeus ...

Is it difficult to grasp from 'ere? Listen up ... if ye wish to drift off ... then interference rings? Odd fabrics as tossed and discarded ...

More Signs of Spring

"A SQUIRREL!!!" one kid yells at the Church daycare
Followed by a cacophony of other kids as they try to find it
Eventually followed by their Minder: "Leave the critter alone. Now come here"

No problem finding squirrels around here. I've constantly got them coming up for a visit. Even digging in my deck boxes.

Good for them

There are lots of squirrels here as well

I overheard the kids today during my gardening at the local church I volunteer for

They are so awesome. All of them are so curious and talky. Always asking questions when we come near the fence.

Beaver are so innovative
Beaver are major cool. And there were once giant beavers. We are not sure if they built dams, but some possible lodges have been described. A number of indigenous nations have legends about giant beavers, leading some to suspect that these legends are based on early human arrivals in the Americas encountering and interacting with them.

Yeah!!!

I have a book that tries to investigate various myths as far back as possible

Its heady stuff :3

(Like that crater that was "found" by some westerners who looked at certain Australian aboriginies tales?)

Been learning more aboot decolonizing and schtuff. Up my alley thang -just a lot of jargon to wade thru

Heady stuff :3

Beavers represent that gnawing aspect of Cana Dias vision of what goes on soude of 'ere and now unknown because of elimination of thought processes ... brae in drain? With holes in the damned they escape ... sometimes a phoque in red cover ...

I'm so glad WC's Holy Poet is with us :3

You emblematize the richer more diverse metaphorical world and language of "premoderns". Who handled complexity much better :3

(Recall who named you the Holy Poet? I miss her. She is a wonderful human being)

I am blessed to have you as a friend

Oh and yeah, Beaver are cool people. I have learned their works work with the local fish :3

Nothing but feet of snow here. Seriously. About a foot in the last day. Even in these odd times of climate change, winter in Central Ontario feels like pretty endless by the end of January.

Most of January, all I saw was grass. Feels like the shortest winter ever to me.

Went for a walk and saw these-( this pic is off the internet, as I don’t know what they are called in english). In German, they are Weidenkätzchen- my app translated as Willow catkins. Not sure if Canadians really would call it that.
Cming week is supposed to get cold again with some snow

I call them pussy willow buds. Later, when they get a bit of a tassel I call them catkins. I'm sure this varies from family to family and area to area. I have to wait quite a while before seeing them in my neighbourhood. They are so special early in the spring that we planted some in the backyard.
