LAST after reading some of the December Broadview magazine...I wasn't going to renew my subscription as I hadn't read a single issue in two years but after catching up on all of them in the past 2 weeks, I decided I could renew for another year :)

Yep, all in the eyes (spinning or otherwise) of the beholder :) My preference is more like the pattern at the top of this page :) And I guess you have to try loads of options to know what you do like or not

Like kissing frogs to find princes, right?

And I agree that the pattern at the top of the page is more my style. I like the tan and the green backgrounds, personally.

Easier than kissing frogs ;) I'm leaning to the green as my fav...I wasn't sure about the brown but now that I've done more in it, it's also really growing on me.
 
Actually that last pattern in red would make a wonderful pattern for napkins for a Valentine's Day tea
