Ah, winter in Eastern Ontario. I remember going up in March so Little M could see the Ottawa and Carleton campuses and freezing our butts off on the tour. And then Quebec got hammered by a snowstorm while we were there. Not that he complained. It meant fresh pow on Mont Tremblant. :giggle:

Very cold (but not extreme cold) here with -23C windchill and still loads of snow and possibly more today

At LAST I finished putting brown backgrounds on the LAST 12 patterns (pondering whether or not to try a grey background on them all now)

-23C is close to extreme cold in Ontario. -8 here going to a high of -4 or -5 and a low tonight of -13 which is about as good as it has gotten here this fall and winter. +1 on Thursday maybe.

It's close to extreme cold here too...supposed to have a mini Chinook today so will be interesting to see if it happens or not

*Weird ape pictures a tiny cargo helicopter*

I once got a pretty closeup look at one of those beauties. When I was at a Scout jamboree in the seventies, the Air Force used one to fly the gov-gen in to speak to the gathering.

The Petawawa base is the only Chinook base left. When they are flying by for training or taking some one to the hospital in Deep River, they are very impressive and noisy . The ground vibrates when they go by.

LAST as I think about what needs done before Christmas and I have no energy to do anything about it today

On my FB page an energetic Christian was talking about a man punching out a philosopher about God not being here right now.

Does this say anything about Christianity getting weaker about hostile reality? Thus the brute forces take over the orders ... straining legitimacy to the extremes ...

Some folk believe in such blasts will save something ... god knows what! We don't seem to know much and if you do you better convert it to sacred and Gnostic ... (you know, hidden forms). These may take the shape of Judean Lions and smart asses that hide in arid lands ... it is said that it outlines the loss of Semite codes ... iconic!

Makes little sensation to those practiced in fiery tongues like Karysma ... the gift off the flash ... a poorly known word!

If gifted with poorly known words ... you can say things to keep up with great desire for misunderstanding ... and devoid concerns!

The Orange air ambulances are bad enough (we are on a flight line for University Hospital's pad). I can only imagine what having Chinooks buzzing around would be like.

Aussies and I were talking about background colours for my patterns and it was suggested trying a grey...I'm not completely sold on it yet but it's growing on me as I try it with my previous patterns
