MaybeIs that the ear of God in the last one?
I still have a Bell satellite receiver/PVR in the basement from when I cut the cord. Probably will never use it again since if we get TV again it will likely be either Fibe or the Internet-based offering from our ISP.so now I need to figure out what to do with it!!!!
You ,ight be able to find an electronics waste disposal site, where you can just dump it off.I was told when I signed up last week that Telus would cancel but the guy today said I have to do itso I phoned Shaw and told them I was cancelling as mom passed away (which is true but not the whole story) and the gal was very helpful
(I'd stay with them but they cost way too much and over the past year has increased the bill by $5 every 3 or 4 months for no reason)...Telus also told me that I would have to return the Shaw equipment but the gal said I didn't as it was paid for and thus we own it so now I need to figure out what to do with it!!!!

I usually take stuff to work and sneak it in with the company's electronic junk when my team takes a load to recycling. Our nearest one is about 30 minutes away so that is an option
The community 15 minutes to the north usually has an electronics roundup in the fall but they haven't for the past 2 years...I have an old electric typewriter that won't type that needs to go too...kept the manual one as it always worksI usually take stuff to work and sneak it in with the company's electronic junk when my team takes a load to recycling.![]()
I think we finally got rid of Mom's old typewriter. No need for it. Even if we had it, I doubt my fingers could handle a manual anymore (arthritis in the knuckles). The community 15 minutes to the north usually has an electronics roundup in the fall but they haven't for the past 2 years...I have an old electric typewriter that won't type that needs to go too...kept the manual one as it always works![]()

Yeah, Mom's wasn't quite that old. It was a nice portable that she must have picked up in, perhaps, the sixties or seventies. I used it to practice when I was learning typing in grade 9 and then for typing up some of my school papers until I got my first PC (a Commodore C64 c. 1983).Mom's is an antiqueGoes with the other antiques I have around here

I used mom's manual, or the electric, until the church got it's first computer in 1994 and I was allowed to type my university essays on it in exchange for typing the church newsletters and bulletins upYeah, Mom's wasn't quite that old.
