We have a lot of rules in my little City. You have to be careful... you can leave stuff on the boulevard with a sign that says "free", but you're likely to get a ticket or complaint after a day or so. I live in the most conservative heart of Ontario...

Also, I have reached the outside limits of "where do I start?" I keep my own personal little spaces hygienic enough, but there are unexplored/untouched rooms.

start with the bike...or something else big...or toss a bunch of miscellaneous small things into a plant pot and put it out with a free sign ;)

Also, outside, weeding, mulching, feeding rose garden and putting Hippie's tree in the middle was a big accomplishment, and it is beautiful. There's a rose re-blooming for me right now.

How wonderful! And, yes, it was a big accomplishment...The Aussies keep reminding me that the house can wait as I'm busy outside right now.
Aw, if we were closer, BA, we'd have a nice "sisterly" hug. Your name is a funny combo of mine and the middle sister's.
Ah, thanks :)
You are quite right. The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. (Does anyone else feel like this period of pandemic has robbed them of 18 months??)
;)

Hugs (alas, no, I don't feel robbed as the LAST 18 months actually have been some of the best and most productive and healthiest of my life)

Greetings! I'm in Last! If I could find a mailbox I'd send a postcard. Weather is beautiful Wish you were here.

Boy Red got up early to try to be last......

I slept well last night and feel pretty rested as I start the day. It was a nice cool night with fresh air flowing around.

I learned a lot when we downsized from the house to the fifth wheel. That helped me be ruthless with the apartment. Mostly. I have a couple small items including an OPP badge that likely went on his cap.

Starting down downsize clutter is a monumental task. Our basement was a repository for the stuff that had no other home. I went down and threw out the "no brainer" stuff like obvious garbage or things that no longer held meaning. That made enough of a dent to begin some momentum. I shredded all my records from my practice because enough time had passed. I shredded four large clear recycling bags full. The shredder needed several breaks along the way but survived.

In our city, anything metal that you put at the curb will get picked up very quickly by scrappers. They must patrol the streets on a regular basis.

Picked a cup of cherries and a cup of raspberries and gave to our garbageman this morning...and I picked an additional 6 cups of raspberries and they are in the freezer
