That instability is reaching precarious proportions. It will not take much to tip the balance. Sad to say, the majority prefer to not see things as they are. Those who do see, and say what they see, are not often welcomed or supported. Socrates and Jesus make this clear.we are looking at a whole lot of instability on both sides now.

Yesterday, Cbc was reporting that police officers off duty were using their badges to get the crowd though barriers . Haven’t heard this again , though. One thing I saw tweeted shortly after the attempted coup was someone refuting the idea that it was so-called "white trash" who were responsible. While anyone doing that might be seen as "trash", the point was that it wasn't your stereotypical poor trailer dwellers. So far we've seen at least one state politician resign after being charged and now we learn that a CEO faces charges and has been placed on leave by his board. This was, like many coups and revolutions, not about poverty or even economics but power and influence.

Cogensia CEO arrested for breaching the US Capitol during Trump-fueled insurrection | CNN Business
The CEO of a Chicago company said he was arrested after breaching the US Capitol during Wednesday’s Trump-fueled insurrection in Washington, DC.amp.cnn.com
I know a cop from Seattle has been charged but I doubt a Seattle badge carries much weight in DC.Yesterday, Cbc was reporting that police officers off duty were using their badges to get the crowd though barriers . Haven’t heard this again , though.
Really, Rita, I don’t think you ‘ve got your head screwed on right. It is offensive to all victims of the Hitler regime what you are comparing here. The mob that stormed the capitol was a right wing Nazi supported mob.America’s Reichstag fire?
A staged attack on a political building, deliberately misattributed to political enemies and used to consolidate the power of a freshly installed leader.
The media coverage is similar, the Nazi government and their tools in the press talked about it in the same exact terms as the US establishment is describing this farcical “coup attempt”. Aiming to terrify people into thinking they were on the verge of an all-out civil war.
This quote could almost be lifted from the front page of the Washington Post or New York Times today:
Within 24 hours of the Reichstag burning, the German President had passed the Reichstag Fire Decree, which declared a state of emergency that totally reversed every civil right the Weimar Republic had guaranteed its citizens:
While these freedoms have already been severely undermined in the US by the Patriot Act and its successors, those few 'rights' left to citizens will definitely be under threat once Trump is finally removed and Biden (or Harris) is put in his place.
Some prominent voices are calling for all lawmakers backing Trump to be expelled from office.
The Washington Post claimed “seditious Republicans must be held accountable”.
The anti-social media campaign has begun again in earnest.
As Twitter and Facebook limit discussion, alternative platforms will be shutdown.
Enforcing a corporate monopoly that cooperates with the state…the very definition of fascism.
In the name of “preventing a coup”, they are carrying one out in front of our eyes.
It puts in mind Huey Long’s famous quote when asked if fascism would ever come to America:
That instability is reaching precarious proportions. It will not take much to tip the balance. Sad to say, the majority prefer to not see things as they are. Those who do see, and say what they see, are not often welcomed or supported. Socrates and Jesus make this clear.
To be clear, this has nothing to do with Rita's posts. At least, I didn't intend it to. If it does, that's by coincidence. This is very interesting. Less, for the criticism of censorship and more the question of: is this an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" political move? There's been an increase in favourability in Western countries, esp. the US, toward Putin in recent years - because he's looked up to by white nationalists, and because of Trump. If Navany sticks up for Trump but still defies Putin - what's behind that? I'm not sure it's only about his opinion on censorship.
(Though, to be honest, I'd like the option to be able to read what Trump is thought-tweeting until the 21st.)

I will leave the spreading of conspiracy theories here to you then. You are spreading conspiracy theories here- and yes, I am all for stopping you right there when you twist the meaning of fascism.
Is that a fact. The mob that stormed the capitol was a right wing Nazi supported mob.
Yes, as a matter of fact, truth, and reality, it is.Is that a fact.
Poor BabyHe will apparently also lose his lifetime security detail.
