It certainly wasn't because I wanted to...and now it's GONE!!!!!Last, as I ponder saving all the recycling for a year.
Sounds precious...mine was made by my uncle and had rough wooden figures - it is technically out since I didn't get it put away after LAST Christmas but not in the living room displayed.My creche is a valued treasure in my life. Bought in my early years of marriage, the only thing I bought with my annual "Uncle JB gift" that year, it's a real barn board stable with wax figures. Above it balances a sparkly baked playdough star crafted by my daughter; to one side is a pinecone christmas tree in a tiny clay pot topped by a tiny wooden star painted yellow, my son's permanent contribution to the scene. The rest of it - tree, lights, etc., I can apparently live without. At least this year.
