Yeah, that's it. April Fool's joke! That's our story, and we're sticking to it.
 
It is a Vit C joke about the sunshine chemical ... ascorbic ... it too is a chemical composing some things out of the tree ...
 
Good morning. It's a chilly crisp morning here. I took the dog for a walk this morning and had to come back early because he used the last poop bag. I'm sure we'll get out later when it's warmer. It promises to be a nice day.

Meanwhile, I'll work on this cursed shawl....

why cursed?
 
I knitted one section and it didn't work out because I missed a stitch so I ripped it back to the garter stitch section and tried again. I did the section again and it was wrong somehow. There's a stitch that is supposed to ladder. It would not ladder on one row and laddered too much on another. IMG_20200405_101506_431.jpg

So, I ripped it back further and am doing it over again. It's going well so far. I'm not at the funky section yet. 20200406_091325.jpg

I keep going because the yarn is gorgeous. I'll use a lifeline for the funky section this time. Thanks to @Carolla for that suggestion.
 
Colour is gorgeous! I haven't used a lifeline yet - mainly because I'm still such a slow knitter that I double and triple check every row before I move on. to the next one :)
 
I'm using stitch markers which help a lot. That's one reason I haven't used a lifeline in ages. It's also a reason I didn't think of it this time.

Yes, I use stitch markers...and still double/triple check everything ;) When I knit my jacket I was always counting 100s of stitches as the increases/decreases were within the welts
 
sorry to hear there's another loss in your life BethAnne. Sounds like you will miss her a lot.
 
These people are guests of our abstract mine ... that deep well. They may swell when leaving the physical world ...

I'd like to get in some overly emotional min*DS to cause some (alternate) storms there ... hyperbole? The saddle form of the round in reciprocal form ... ironic cross 'Ns? Thus myth of intellect goes on as coveted ... subliminal as least!
