Ugh Bette I hope it gets dealt with soon. I think it should, as that can become dangerous if left too long. I know how awful it was when I had the abscessed tooth.
 
Me, too. I worry about being a bit sucky about pain until I remember that I bore three children with no pain relief. (and that the dentist made some very clear careful recommendations re pain relief; the x-rays were real ugly).. Just keeping up the 3/day extra strength ibu, finishing the antibiotics, and looking forward to end of this.

They have suggested it be closed to all but emergency work. I would hope that @BetteTheRed would fit in the emergency category. Bette I feel your pain. I became aware of the nerves in my face because of a tooth two years ago. I hope you find relief soon.

I've responded to their cancellation of my appointment, and that they've offered some options if things get beyond manageable, which is pain killers. Difficult situation to be in; I'm painkilling and coasting. They've always been pretty good; I'm thinking I'll be near the top of the re-scheduling list. I really don't want a non-pro dealing with the bone grafting we had planned.
