Are you looking for work in Suwon jae? so that you & yobo can live together again? Do you find it lonely living alone? Seems like Suwon is a much bigger city.

No, I haven't actively looked for work in Suwon Carolla, though Yobo and I have decided it's the best move for me for when my time in Seosan is complete. I'd be living with Yobo and our oldest son, be closer to my daughter-in-law and granddaughter, and get to try living in a bigger city. Suwon has about 10X the population of Seosan (about 1,000,000 vs. 100,000).

I'm content for the time being living alone on weekdays.

Sorry, is that a snail shell with a blob of wasabi in it?o_O

No... although I can't honestly say that I know just what it is. They had one buffet station labeled, "Fresh Section" where they were serving up these delicacies. Inside the shell was just... some kind of cooked sea creature. This kind of food is new to me - it isn't burgers and fries.

From the shell, definitely a snail but I've never seen one done that way. Best snails are the red-cooked ones in Shanghai. It's a local specialty. Beats French escargots any day.

"Prawn?" I believe that's a crayfish.

Really? Guess I underestimated the size of the plate, then. Doesn't really look like one, though. Still eyeing it, in any case. I'm very shellfish about seafood.

You could well be right. I thought it was a crayfish when I selected it but I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to such foods.

Hmmm - most of that fish looks raw to me ... not a fan of that, so I'd probably be heading along to the veggie section!!

To me the snail looks like a whelk, or possibly but less likely, a winkle - used to get them as a kid in England. Also got cockles, mussels, winkles, clams, oysters, scallops, prawns, shrimps, crayfish, crab and lobster. I don't know what shrimp like thing is on the plate, could be a shrimp, a crayfish or something else entirely. Hubby thought it was a small squid..

That'd be the Salad Bar. They also had more than one sushi section, a Fried Section, a Dessert Section, a Beverage Section and a Noodles Station.
