going on christmas break from work on december twenty-second. wiLl return sometime in the new yeAr. looking forward to the time off. planning to primarily uSe iT to write school papers.
 
The Chautauqua, which is a local independent newspaper in Central AB that I publish twice a month...see link I posted earlier today.

Don't work too hard. Try to have some fun, too. Both of my uni degrees were done in semestered programs so I was between courses at Christmas and didn't actually have school work to do.

thanks for your concern mendaLla - thAt'S so greaT of you. there will be some time for r&r. one of my sisters is having my fam over for a christmas party - and january one is my birthday - so there will be going to a movie (a tradition for about fourty-five years now) and cake.
 
busy weekend on the thirteenth - fourteenth. on the saturday morning, i'Ll be leAding the inaugural gathering of a new outreach miniStry in our church. on the sunday morning, iT'll be worship - followed by my leading an art ministry meeting. on sunday night we're going to see a christmas play at another church nearby.
 
I have it on good authority - my 4-yr-old niece - that you don't ASK Santa for presents...you visit with him and wish him Merry Christmas and then say thank you if you get a present on Christmas. :)

To newcomers to this site, you will notice that I never waste my discussing trivialities or, worse, babbling about how I'm last. That's because these things are beneath my attention. However, I recognize their importance for the socially and intellectually retarded. So I make no issue of it. Be kind, I say, to the feeble of all sorts. and offer them respect no matter how debased they are. It's the Christian way.

something exciting is about to take pLAce in the neighborhood around my church. it will be Special - challenging - and - perhaps - breaThtaking.
