To set the record straight though...Apparently the eyebrow thing was lighting and shadow, on camera...because his eyebrows are thick in places and thin in others, the thick part looked like it was separating from the rest when they moved in that moment. Ultimately, who cares? He has to stand up for Canada’s interests. Trump starting a trade spat/trade war is counterproductive for everyone.

Of course he has to stand up for Canada. Name one person who has gotten the better if Trump by going toe to toe with him so far. We have the Lion and the mouse. The mouse threatening to eat the lion. There is a better way.

Facts don’t matter

The US government farm subsidies don’t matter. The billions they spend annually in their various farm bills don’t matter

The added up trade money doesn’t matter

The only thing that matters is letting a boy child get his way and then crow about it. Seldom do I find someone as odious as Trump


It appears that only constant kudos and applause works to stroke his fragile ego
 
Who is having success with Trump? The Europeans don't think they are. Certainly, Latin Americans don't.
Kim Jong? Not likely. Trump has done nothing to end his illegal trade sanctions on North Korea. Nor has he said anything about removing his troops. And I think it most unlikely he will do either of those. He needs a sort of settlement because the Peace Prize with further stuff his ego. He also needs peace in the Pacific so he can invade Iran. But any such peace will be temporary. Trump and big capitalism in the U.S. are still aimed at world conquest.
 
World conquest has been the objective since 1945. Nothing has changed. - except Trump has to pick up the pace because the days of American power are very, very limited.

I've actually often wondered what it would be like if we kept the House of Commons but instead of having the appointed Senate instead randomly selected citizens to serve in the senate for a set term. Kind of like being called for jury duty. No political compromises, no worries about having to be re-elected. You serve your term and pass the job on to someone else. But while you have the job you hold the government accountable. What would that look like I wonder.​
 
Who has got the better of Trump - and lots of other U.S. presidents? Afghanistan springs to mind. And all the Muslim terrorist groups being funded by the U.S. And Cuba.

Who cares if he doesn't pay taxes? Hell, if it were somebody poor, you'd be calling for the hangman.

As to him creating jobs, you have not the faintest knowledge of economics. In our capitalism, the wealthy always take more out of a society than they put into it. That's why the wealth has been sliding from everybody else and into the pockets of the rich. That's why the U.S. rate of poverty has risen spectacularly even as the wealthy are piling it away. That's why the newspapers that the rich own hire sellout columnists to tell us about how the wealth trickles down. It doesn't and it never has.

Pontiflex, you don't have a clue how money works - or about anything else as far as I can determine.

Do you know how money the U.S. loses on the unpaid profits of the rich? It's over a trillion dollars a year.

I'll have to write to Mr. Trump to take his pants down and bend over so you can kiss him.
 
Obviously I read different books than you do. And I know Canadian miners personally. You read that they kill people. They don’t. I could explain to you how people get killed-but that’s not my thing, and you wouldn’t believe it, because you hate Canadian miners and that is more fun than facts.
