No I did not. I already know that there is a group that doesn’t like the story. No matter which production. So I don’t need to read people saying it isn’t a good interpretation of the death of Jesus

I was looking fir reviews of the production. Artistic, musical choreographic reviews

I understand that you don’t like this human view of Jesus

However, if you had watched it I think you would have seen disciples struggling to understand the scope of the movement they were a part of. Jesus struggling, as the bible tells us he did, to cope with his knowledge of his impending death as he prayed in the garden
The population, who once followed him turning on him as he is sentenced to death. Choosing not to free him. Pilot struggling to understand why. Washing his hands

These are things in the musical. They are in the bible

Jesus is portrayed as someone willingly going to death. “At first I was inspired, now i’m Sad and tired”. But going willingly.

How open minded ... not for those of a heart for narrow perspectives !

You think women are unable to follow Jesus?

Such wouldn't be a lighter human trait but heavy handed ... and thus darker closed cycles!

Reminds me again of that ... "bring down that dark cloud for the silver lining" ballad ... a good rest away from heavy handed ... close fisted stoics? Stoney perspectives ... look for a crack for escape ... perhaps a metaphor of something else in essence ...

Amongst everything an upper and lower hand ... reason being? We don't know ...

Did you choose to read only reviews you felt would not be negative? No wonder than that all the online reviews you read were positive.

I have no problem with the human nature of Jesus.

Is that enough - that he went willingly? What were his motives for going according to JCS?
As I said Jae I did not look for evangelical negative reviews. But I looked at others

In my opinion, you have a very odd reaction to this musical

A major network, on the major Christian holiday presented a lively, accurate depiction of the death of Jesus. The cast was superb. I love the on stage musicians

What does it say about your message of Christianity if you can only like your own message and discard messages from others.

Everything I have ever read about this musical ( lots as I have had this album since I was 13 , have seen it live three times, own the movie, reviewed the movie and generally love musicals) says that many many actors involved find it life changing

Get your head out of your “holier than thou” attitude and recognize that there are other ways of spreading the good news of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus

And yes I would agree the depiction of the crucifixion was different here. I too took the raising of the cross and the light as showing movement towards heaven as god is so often depicted as light

The depiction of Jesus in JCS is inaccurate Lastpointe.

He finds it haughtier when in someone else's Γ's ... an Eire in Celtic zones and Aryan in Cyrillic terms still a gamma ... dark light ... the Shadow causing chaos in M'N and hooman alike ... hooM'N ... the genteel sects ... none-the-less increasing chaos ...

What did we collectively see as inaccurate to our understanding of the various depictions in The bible of Jesus’ s last week

I really liked Judas in this. The actor was amazing. I loved how he struggled with his choices and actions. How he tried to challenge Jesus when he thought Jesus was getting "uppity" or too famous. Was that actually based on Jesus' actions, or transference. I'm thinking it was more Judas' perception than actuality. Jesus had a much bigger impact on those around him than what Judas expected, so he had to blame Jesus. I also liked this human portrayal of Judas (here and in the other version of JCS). He has been criticized for his actions, yet his actions really aren't as simple as they would appear.

You are so frustrating and worth ignoring. Your attitude is what drives people away from Christianity

“If you don’t believe as I do you are not believing”

This was an amazing event for. NBC to do. How can we not celebrate the idea that a few million people saw an event in live tv and some would have been touched by it

When Jesus was overwhelmed by the sick and ill I could feel it. When Jesus asks why are we doing this , I could feel his pain

You are an idiot
