We'll probably see Black Panther though I'm not personally excited about superhero movies.
Is anyone here itching to see it?

Going this Saturday along with my best friend, my mom, and one of my cousins. My favorite movie critic gave it ****/****, so it's sure to be amazing.

See the first Guardians movie! It's a stand-alone and a laugh a minute.
We liked the second one but it didn't measure up to how great the first one was.

For me it's the opposite. I feel the second Guardians was superior to the first. I felt the first was great too though.

Speaking of "Movies you'd like to see," one of the things I like to see most when I go to the cinema are the Coming Attractions. I always enjoy the trailers, guaging whether or not I want to see the films that will be presented in the future. I look forward to doing that again tomorrow when I go with family and friends to see "Black Panther."

Here in Toronto, we also have quite a neat thing before the Feature Film starts that is called "TimePlay." It is a trivia game that you play on an app on your phone while questions appear on the big movie screen. Always good fun.

Don't need to go to the theatre to see coming attractions anymore. YouTube often gets trailers at the same time or even before. But that was one of my favorite parts of movie going back when I still went to movies regularly.

Yes, I sometimes watch trailers via YouTube. And some come my way via Facebook and Twitter. Still, for me, there's just something about seeing them on the big screen.

I found the Observer article. You can read it here: Dear Hollywood: Enough with the disability clichés
loved The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
a very beautiful movie
(twould be hilarious if, to maintain max Diversity they had actually hired an actor with that man's actual condition...or with the movie Breathe if they did the very difficult of hiring someone actually dying from Polio. as Dustin Hoffmann was supposedly told by Sir Lawrence Oliverier in Marathon Man "Hasnt He heard of acting?")

good thing Homosexual and Jewish Hollywood (a lot of the oldetime movie studios etc that have come to form our culture were blessedly full of Jews and Homosexuals, two classic victim groups who came into their own) is becoming increasingly less relevant as more and more other peeps can have their particular vision shewn

i havent been to a first run theatre in a while
do they still have those theatre mags that talk aboot upcoming movies and such?

I saw Black Panther, on my own, last weekend, and enjoyed it. When I walked out I wasn't as impressed - but as I thought about it more, it was a well done movie, with some relevant messages - too many battle scenes - but it is a Marvel movie. Wakanda was quite an impressive place - the mix of primitive culture and extremely high tech was cool, I thought.

Tonight after work my friend took me to see "I, Tonya". It wasn't a movie I was itching to see but she invited me to share a free pass for two - which was really nice of her. The movie was a lot better than I expected! Tonya Harding put up with so much horrid abuse in her life, it was easy to see how it shaped her in some dysfunctional ways. But, good Lord, what a gaggle of doofuses her partner and his buddy, and acquaintances/ conspirators were! She made some bad choices too, It was quite (shockingly) funny in parts. What a gong show...the same way the Trump fiasco is shockingly funny, except the Harding mess was less consequential for the world ...I didn't realize some of those interviews were pretty much exact reenactments. That Shaun dude...wow. A piece of work.

This character was the most puzzling, to me. Here is the real Shaun Ekhart, in the real interview with Diane Sawyer. The movie versions were only slightly satirical. I knew of the Tonya Harding and Nancy Karrigan scandal, but I guess I didn't follow all the sordid details back then.

They'll never do it because Marvel wouldn't spend the money on a non-American superhero.

Oh wait... Black Panther...

So there is hope. They'd have to get another A-list actor to play Wolverine though since, as you say, Hugh is winding down.

Other superheroes who'd I'd like to see get the cinematic treatment. I highly doubt they ever will... The New Mutants, Power Pack, Dazzler, Cloak & Dagger.

Turns out The New Mutants are getting a film, and Cloak and Dagger a series. Right on!

Like I feel many other couples do, Yobo and I take turns choosing what movies we go see. Last time we saw "Black Panther," so this time (we're going tomorrow), it's her turn to choose. She has chosen for us to go see "The Shape of Water." She's curious to see it since it won the Academy Award. I'm not really looking forward to see it.

Watch for the Dragon Jae ... an icon of wisdom to recess in the sight of brutal men ... and thus the thought went under ... a subtle undertone of Shadows in the pool? Tis part of the mental issue ... not accepted in church opiates ... thus the numbing of cognizance ... you won't understand the part called ci fini ... sometimes Stephanie ...

Comes one step at a time with de light ... Jae Zus tis a dark cloudy issue ... like the storms of Babylon ... these co on in the indeterminate psyche ... a thing determinate folk deny and thus loss of thought ...

I'm a bit sensitive about going with my mom to see it (Yobo, my mom and I are all going together). I shared that with her and her reply was, "Don't worry. I've seen it all before."

Are you shy about the whetting scenes ... could sharped some introverted senses ... but as I've said before ... ignore me ... I could be a conned science ... every nation needs one ... but they are often buried ... like sol ... few have been discovered cognitively ...

It is said they live within the myth ... perhaps jus'tory ?
