Resurrection: Does Your Minister/Church Preach What You Believe?

It's subject to interpretation by you, by me, by the clergy, by everyone. Interpretation is what creates dogma and doctrine, especially those which change in time.

--Airclean--post---
No Neo it is Subject to GODS interpretation. Even the Apostles, could not understand it . Till Christ was raised from tomb" an came and breath on them , so there eyes could be opened and then they could understand The Word. Now if you mean you can Guess , that don't help much.

--Neo --post--
Our awareness is directly purportional to our understanding. Being "full of the Holy Spirit" is another term for spiritual understanding. You can judge me all you want, claiming I have no spiritual understanding, I fortunately don't have to answer to you.
--Airclean--post--
Neo I have told you before , and will again . You may believe anything you wish". GOD The Father gave you that right, but be carful ," this can also be your down fall". I ask you if The Apostles could not understand it till Christ" died an came to touch there eyes. But you Can?
I want you to understand "there is another who don't understand ether,THAT is The evil one". Could be, why he" teaches it wrong.

Hidden Beliefs Covered by the Church? Resurrection and Reincarnation in Early Christianity

In 1945, researchers discovered some early Judeo-Christian writings. Two years later, the world heard about the Dead Sea Scrolls, the discovery which changed biblical history. The early Christians and Jews followed the teachings of Jesus - including the concept of resurrection. There are several examples of this found in ancient resources.

The oldest texts provide two concepts of resurrection: spiritual and bodily. The spiritual rebirth by the Holy Spirit is also known as being born again. A bodily resurrection of a human could also be called reincarnation. According to the first important father of the early Orthodox Church, Origen (185 – 254 AD), the soul exists before birth. He suggested that pre-existence was found in the Hebrew scriptures and the teachings of Jesus.

Great Teachers like the Christ speak to the Soul level, so we should therefore be in tune with our inner Selves first if we are to truly follow someone like the Christ. This is why He said "the Kingdom of God is within", where the Kingdom of God is likened to the Kingdom of Souls.
actually other bible versions like NIV, NASB, NET, have it translated as “in your midst” or “among you” or “in the midst of you” , which is a better translation since Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees when he said this, stating that He, Jesus Brought the kingdom to earth and that Jesus Himself is in the mist which is the presences of the Kingdom and that eventually Gods Kingdom will rule in peoples heart, which clearly shows a change of hart , a rebirth from a stone heart to a heart of flesh for God and man.

Neo scripture pretty much Translates itself when the whole of scripture is taken into account and not just cherry picking a verse to fit a New Age view

Christianity, at least certainly the type of Christianity you promote, wants us to believe we are fundamentally broken and unworthy. And by amazing coincidence, it also has the solution!

We need people to believe in themselves, not outsource their sense of self-esteem. It's my position that people should take pride in their accomplishments and learn from their failures without dwelling on them. And there are many ways to improve yourself. Maybe some people are constructed such that some form of religion is a good solution, but I see no reason to assume Christianity is the sole solution for anyone, or the best solution for everyone. And it's people like you who demonstrate the damage possible through Christianity. Satan isn't right about you - your life isn't horrible. You're just believe horrible things, and you want to infect people with your beliefs. Happily, you're horrible at it.

Mine too is from within Airclean. And this is on track with the original post, what we believe inside is more important than what a minister or a church preaches. I'm not saying that we shouldn't listen to those who preach, but in the end the Soul is the first teacher.

You see Neo , you an I ,can agree that we both have a voice from in side. But dose it not seem to you we don't agree? That said, it don't mean that Born-again"s don't disagree on some points. But we can normally set down talk about it. I or they will give a passage from GODS word. We may note always agree , but normally we agree to disagree", on this point.

Luke 17:21 is indeed translated in a variety of ways: within you, among you, in your midst, here with you, in the midst of you, here with you, inside you, in you, within your grasp. Lots of variations; roughly the same thing, with "within you" being something of an outlier in that it says something a wee bit different.

I get what you're saying about the Pharisees, although it's worth noting that Jesus doesn't say that the Kingdom of God is within them - his response to the Pharisees becomes slightly parabolic (Jesus talks about what "people" will say when it comes - or, more specifically, what they will not say.) So, "within you" or "in your midst" may not be a specific reference to the Pharisees, but to the hypothetical "people" Jesus is referring to. Jesus' reply also notes that the coming of the Kingdom won't be observed. This seems to fit "within you" better than "in your midst."

There's also the fact that Luke uses the Greek word ἐντός (entos) - which does actually mean within or inside and not among. Personally, while I recognize that it's debatable, I prefer "within you."

I agree , that is why i said , that eventually God will rule in peoples heart.

which I believe comes down to a re birth, born again, what ever term one uses to show a Change of heart from man to God.

If that's how you read it then that's your translation of scripture, which is my point to Airclean. Translations are subject to how we see things, i.e. our awareness. Sometimes we see through a glass darkly, other times the veil is lifted. It's the one that views that changes, not what is being viewed.

Christ brought the Kingdom to Earth because He was the first to perfectly manifest the Soul, i.e. the first to become physically "at One" with God. He promised that we too can not only "be perfect" but that we can also do "greater things".

Religion is not the only avenue to becoming "at One" with God, This thing we call "salvation" is not just in religion, it exists in the practicing of the "art of living". It's not "what" we believe, it's "how" we believe that matters. But Christians tend to think that one must adhere to a certain set of Christian doctrines and dogmas in order to be saved. I'm sorry, but that's a bunch of malarkey. Nothing could be further from the truth, imho. This is something that our churches have told us in order to scare people into submission. The 'art of living' lay in the perfection of our thoughts and our actions. The teachings of Christ point the way for us to follow, the teachings cannot take us there against our will. Otherwise what's the point?

Bother I believe what Christ said..
Mat 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

I believe where ever GOD is , that is His Kingdom". I believe GOD is in us", that is through His Holy Spirit". Where we preach, then is GODS Kingdom". Go into all The World and preach The Word."

the big difference between your view and a christian view is the fact that your view focuses of self and the Christian views focus is self-less completely in God

only self is birth in religion to attain the Divine,

No, this is your perception of what I'm trying to say. Since the story of the Garden of Eden Mankind has been suffering from a kind of schizophrenia of duality, "good and evil", as it's described in Genesis. The fabled expulsion from Eden was the point where the division between spirit and matter took hold. Mankind suddenly found itself immersed and magnetically stuck into the form of time and space. Thus began the path of return.

The "lower self" is the personality, composed of physical, emotional and mental matter, and can never enter into the Kingdom of the Souls by its very definition. The "higher Self" is the Soul, the Observer, the Eye of God, the Spark of Divinity, the "self-less" as you said above. Salvation is process where the Soul, the higher and inner Self, takes control over the words (spirit), the thoughts (mind) and the actions (body) of the personality. It's the latter that is left on the cross of self-sacrifice.

Neo I am not sure what you seem to be teaching here. But again it seems wrong. All born are perfect, Girls or Boys have to age 12-13. before there sin is on them" .Before this they have no sin. The Jews have always believe that , as do I. The GOD" I follow is One of LOVE".

The Christ also was perfect ", when born in flesh . The Flesh also was Perfect. But later in life Christ had to learn to control it. You and I did not learn we failed. The Christ was from Heaven GODS Perfect Son". The Flesh called here Jesus", was of the earth, was tested in all ways as we were.

actually no I did not say that above, your higher self is still YOU, to be selfless it completely not rely on any part of yourself and solely Entirely on the Creator

Which is your opinion of course. I believe that deep within our heart of hearts lay an eternal "Spark of Divinity", the Soul of Humanity. Our job is become at one with that Spark and to ignore the desires of the outer shell. Christ shone with that Spark of Divinity and so can we. In this way God can only be found within and not without.
