Trump, the saviour of unborn babies, has threatened to nuke the whole nation of North Korea. And the Christian Bible Belt gives him a standing ovation.

As President of the United States of America, Trump's responsibility is towards Americans. If a foreign power is threatening them, he should protect them.

North Korea is threatening the U.S.?

The U.S. pulverized North Korea in the most brutal war ever fought - killing over 30% of the population (as compared to Britain and Canada's losses in WW2 of about 1%).

In the almost 70 years since, the U.S. has enforced poverty in North Korea using trade sanctions.

for 50 years, the U.S. had nuclear missiles in South Korea, aimed at the north.

It routinely staged war games on the the north's border - as well as patrolling seal lanes and overflying it.

As a deterrent, North Korea has maybe a couple of nuclear bombs. The U.S. has 4,000.

The U.S. has wanted a war with North Korea ever since the Korean War. it wants it for the reason it wanted the original war - as the base to attack China.

And you call South Korea the threat? How very Christian. How very self-righteous.

The only threat South Korea is to us is outdoing us in terms of making delicious edibles. Oh, and they have an excellent speed skating team.

jae - there is a time for diplomacy? What is that time? When North Korea grovels, begs the U.S. for forgiveness, and offers to be the assembly point for the invasion of China?
Can you name me a single time in the last seventy years when the U.S. has tried diplomacy with North Korea?
Do you have the faintest idea of what you're talking about?

Not according to you. :ROFLMAO:

Geronimo - Don't talk nonsense. You understood what I said. (Sorry. Maybe you aren't bright enough to understand.)

What church-goers could do is to adopt the unwanted babies. But that's yuckie-poo. So they'd probably rather leave that in the hands of scared girls and young women. it's easy to be virtuous when, instead of practicing it, we simply demand it of others.
Did you adopt kids?

Apparently one of the big issues in today's Government shutdown is that "the Democrats want Mr. Trump and the Republicans to agree to legislation that would allow undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children – known as "Dreamers" – to stay in the country. Mr. Trump wants to trade such legislation for funding of his promised wall on the U.S. border with Mexico." - the Globe and Mail.

"Mr. Trump wants to trade such legislation for funding of his promised wall on the U.S. border with Mexico". Trump wants to trade the lives of 800,000 people to get his wall. What a f***ing jerk!

During the March for Life speech, Trump actually said..."...many states allow a baby to be born from - his, or her... mother's womb... right up to the 9th month. It is wrong. It has to change.":ROFLMAO:

Trump said he's against birth in the 9th month of pregnancy

Are those the words from Trump that you appreciated @Jae. Because, I appreciated them too. Lucky I wasn't drinking a beverage. I am sure the comedians will appreciate those words, too. It makes their jobs easier.

(I think he meant to say something else...but, wow, that was some goof-up.)

As you yourself graciously allow Cousin, it was a gaffe. A gaffe being something that every public speaker has made from time-to-time. It was unfortunate and amusing that he made it. You can see that in how the others on the video responded to the gaffe.

Many Christians have, indeed, adopted an "ends justify the means" approach with regards to Trump. He's anti-abortion (actually, he's promised to appoint anti-abortion judges in order to get the anti-abortion vote, in spite of the fact that until he ran for president in 2016 he never really had any firm beliefs on the subject) and he's pro-Israel (although once again there was never much evidence that he'd thought much about Israel until he ran for president.) But because he is those two things well, nothing else matters. He can be as odious as he chooses to be. Because - you know - the ends justify the means.

I was once instructed in bioethics classes that it was all about emotional ends .. and no d' ontological goings on without ends! The Prof. we married us used to get in great arguments with me and other senior students about how we shouldn't think ... and thus accept his dogma that all that counted was the genes and the environment didn't affect anything ... as dogmatic I caused some of us to be denied and eliminated from the firm institutional stand (upright as ethics generally) but of course to him that was extra terries trial (Terre being derived from GEO or Ghia; take you pick).

Tis a mystery to me how people believe only their thoughts form belief while outlandish thoughts can creep in ... thus sacred wisdom ... that others have found a great void ... as they haven't fallen into the fascination of what's beyond us ... it is a larger object than what some firmly constituted on the superficial part of the stone would accept as splattered there ... incarnate scattered thought requiring some gathering on Sunday Mornings for sharing of alien encounters the past week with things lacking ethics ... allows for post hole ..developing into catastrophic revelations for those finding themselves baffled by the concept of eternal wisdom ... contained by intellect out there beyond the end?

When you consider the belief that it is better for the alternate thinking being to be dead ... how such desires can rise over subdued intellect ... an anthropomorphism ... some even find such stretches of thought xenon IHC ... like a glowing Black Hole!

Although it could be the fear of bats coming out of a hole in the ground with a great flutter ... love of profound thought is like that ... an extensive metaphor ...

I've been told by some separate authorities about what I've experienced or not ... so that kills individual empirics ... doesn't it if you believe the alternate can tell you what you experienced ...

Tis a compound encounter ... t' ontological encounters requiring transcendent visits to abstract spots ... where ide Eire is initiated in dielectrics at the synaptic gap ... and thus religion and science of the Black Art begins as psychic ... happens in church when people think and raise PEW ... it causes a stink! The moving of where people sit is unacceptable --- some chairman!
