LAST - supposed to be nice today but dark and dreary now.

Ditto in London on the dark, dreary part. Tomorrow is looking marginally better, partly cloud and only a chance of showers rather than fairly steady rain as we've had this morning.

Dreary here but warm for the season. I'm doing some decluttering today. Starting with paper piles. I'm giving the shredder a break right now. I'll do a couple of rows on the sock.

Break time. Studying the Black Death (medieval plague) while suffering through a cold myself.

Anyone who is studying the black death should also be looking at where it is happening now, and who is doing it.

It's happening in Yemen where it's out of control because the U.S. and the Saudis have blocked all foods and medical help to that nation. This could kill millions. And we are fully supporting it.

Any thoughts on a Christian role in all this?

A customer at work told me that it's also going on in Madagascar. However, I'm doing a history project - a timeline. We were to choose a 50-100 year timespan and then study what went on. Today's plagues don't fit into my timeline of 1328-1388.
