It was sunny when I left my house, and got progressively darker as I got closer to work. Now there is a big dark cloud overhead. For the record, I'm only about a ten minute drive from work, it's not like it was a long journey or anything.

Perhaps it is a message that I should have stayed in bed.

I hope the rain is also west of us in BC. They truly need it.

According to the news report I heard earlier today BC is in for record-breaking heat not rain.

No, I didn't but it is squeaking less - not totally stopped - so the WD-40 did work a bit.
