The "thought forms" of God that humans have perpetuated down the ages become prisons if not renewed in time. That's the secret of God.

Of this I am aware.

You cannot see the Truth, any more then you can see gravity. We know its there by its effects, and the effect of Truth in our lives and in the world reveals a Peace, Love, and Goodness which "surpasseth all understanding".

if Truth be a position of reality , it must be delegated from its point of Origin (God) , for it to be in existence, if That God manifest and says

" I am the Truth "

He has been seen

the Historicity of Jesus and his Ministry is a fact, what is taken on 500 witness is called second account witnessing of the Resurrection , today's court systems its called hearsay, that's the part Christians take on faith and where the Spirit confirms or testifies to its truth
 
The healing of the Mind is illusory, as is the idea that Minds need to be healed. God is perfect, though is not perfectly demonstrated through man due to the illusions we believe. So Healing of the mind is doing away with the illusions, and embracing the True Reality, which is God.

really? how can you be sure other then self thinking that this statement is true and not an illusion of your mind ?

I can be sure because of what God IS. If my life is not wholly peaceful, loving, and meaningful, then I must be believing in illusions or things which are not real.

My mind will be healed when I am free from illusions.

---Hi Crazyheart don't be so hard on your self. I have seen you posts here for a few years now . An believe your mistaken in thinking in some way GOD don't want to give you what you seek. Shekhinah is the presents of GOD in Spirit from what I understand. At night before I lay down to sleep . I have a talk with GOD, about how the day went. And to pray for others who I have come across in the day. And of course my family. If you do something like it , (Ask GOD to join you). See if the Shekhinah don't come and sett with you awhile feel the heat, and Glory, that is His. A Love that even has it's own name Agape". May GOD Be with You. He is your Father too you know.--airclean33

Didn't God, presumably via the Holy Spirit, tell Abraham to kill his own son? Or was this not meant to be taken literally? But what about the other stories of God telling the Israelis to kill their enemies? Symbolic?

Maybe its not to be taken literally.

Perhaps what is meant is to kill the idea of "son" and "enemy" from the mind, dissolving the special, human love and the desire to do another harm, respectively.
 
Hi there Neo .. There is a differs of GOD The Father and GOD The Holy Spirit . You also understand GOD was trying Abraham do you not . He also would not let Abraham kill his son. Again in the book of Exodus . Can you show any other than GOD THE Father taking to them?
