In an interview with ABC in 2008, when Mrs. Clinton was running for President, she was asked what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons, to which she responded, “I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack Iran. In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel we would be able to totally obliterate them". Iran did not and does not have nuclear weapons and Clinton knew it, but she did not even declare that if Iran attacked Israel, which is highly unlikely if not impossible (unless Israel attacks first), she would defend Israel. Her threat to obliterate Iran, a very large country, can be accomplished by only one means: Attacking Iran with nuclear weapons.

We are surpassing anything the naziis did.
Hillary is a giddy, giggling mass murderer. Obama's record is no better. And I don't care whether he is, as Kimmio suggested, too stupid to know what is going on, or too gutless to lead. He remains a mass killer responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands, at least.
And it's all done to make a handful of billionaires richer. We pay. They play.
Canada should be working on how we can detach ourselves from all this.
Christians should be wondering that, too.

I never called Obama stupid or gutless. Inexperienced at working with generals, and other high status hawks - who lied to him! If they lie about a threat (you saw the Intercept article) and they have the supposed information the president relies on? Plus, Obama was put down by racist attacks to undermine his authority his entire presidency. No other president has been subject to that.

If he used the power of executive orders for everything then he would've been called a dictator. And if the U.S. had been attacked by another country because they saw Obama as a lame duck, he would've been called weak, and treasonous, and impeached. The military runs the show when it comes to war and peace decisions. You don't know Graeme, what was really going on. None of us knows. Maybe Obama avoided more wars than we know about.

One reason Syria is such a long war and such a mess is that the U.S. has been supplying money and weapons to both the rebels and to ISIS. He has created a war on several fronts. This is going to kill way over a million people. And all so American billionaires can control the oil.
Obama knows all that - unless he has the IQ of a caterpillar. He has carried on exactly the policies of George Bush and Tony Blair.
And Bush and Blair are war criminals who should be tried and hanged just as we hanged naziis. And Obama, too.

Thing is, they could've had a plan they thought would be the best way to handle it and the plan didn't work because they couldn't foresee the random decisions of a few individuals that grew into something worse in the middle of chaos.

The U.S. has been supplying ISIS and other terrorist groups. This is quite common in imperial wars. And it is quite impossible that Obama did not know what was going on.
The British did this in India and China many years ago. It's old stuff.
Obama is war criminal. And the U.S. has no right to be in Syria in the first place. This is illegal in international law. Obama knows that. The U.S. policy in this area (including drone bombings and special ops attacks) is illegal. Torture is a war crime. Keeping prisoners in Guantamo Bay is a war crime. Obama's a lawyer. He knows that. And the U.S. has always been like that. It's invasion of Cuba over fifty years ago was illegal. It's invasion of Haiti as a 'peacekeeper' was illegal.
They tried and hanged Saddam Hussein for doing less that Obama has.
The U.S. operates as an international gangster.
As a result, all the values we praise on Nov. 11 have, in practice, been discarded for years.

And everything always follows an exact script from history? No random actors or events that take it off script? No chance that the establishment itself can overpower a leader's intentions?

Obama inherited a huge mess. Maybe some decisions made things worse but I don't think that was his intention. Graeme, he was shut down at every effort - because he's black! A large lobby of racist people ensured that he would be less effective, then rub it in his face. Why are you not more upset about that?

Could part of that pattern involve the racist (tribalism of the populous) attacks that set Obama up to fail in many areas he tried to change? He deserves a fair "trial", too. I don't agree with Graeme about all the blame being thrown at Obama. He was hated by large numbers of people because of his skin, his name, and the religion of his step-father, the moment he took office - even before. That, too, is a travesty that should make people think.

Yes. Poor Obama. He won the presidency. But nobody loved him. So he had to supply ISIS with weapons. And he had to create a rebel movement in Syria. And he had to invace Syria and murder hundreds of thousands of innocent people. And he didn't even know all this was happening. And he just had to murder nobody knows how many people with drone bombing. I mean, i'm sure if he knew there was drone bombing going on, well, he thought that list he drew up ever day was of people he wanted to send birthday cards to.
The U.S. has become the British Empire, the Spanish Empire, the Nazi empire of our day. Like the others its murderous and pillaging.
But how could Obama know that? Everybody kept it a secret from him. In fact, the only reason he supports Clinton is because she promises to end all war.
