TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

What happens in history is always a reaction to something else that came prior to it. The popularity of Trump is a reaction to eight years of that liberal softy Barack Obama - and it's why Mr. Trump will win the presidency.

Aaaaaaand another one bites the dust.

Short version : Carson drops out to lead a Christian voters group.

And here is Romney's full speech. If he is not jockeying for a possible play for the nomination, I will be a monkey's uncle.

Well, that was a good, well reasoned, speech. Very statesman-like/ presidential, really. Old school. It's actually a bit of a relief to hear. He's a conservative, yes (and I am not), and he really did cut down the Clintons, but he seems so much smarter and more sane than what we have been hearing lately. After being inundated with Trump, I can't remember what bothered me much about Romney in 2012. I don't remember his platform ideas. Anyone?

It might be okay if he's jockeying for the nomination at this point, actually.

Should all people be isolated from email, interns, out turns and thus walled up?

Vote Dtrumpth for crisis as the instantaneous route to anti climax ... i.e. how it never ends ... human desire not to know and thus wisdom is excluded ... let us role this around in heaven for dais*ah! At night a dark flouring as it is milled out ...

The somnolent grind?

WC2 political analysts seems to favor the point of view that Trump is an aberration, a candidate who stands in contradiction to the high morals and ideas associated with - what ?

I find Trump represents the ugly reality of a country and society - with its mask removed - quite fairly. The United States of Canada & America are in truth a brutal place where greed, arrogance and ruthlessness are respected as qualities of 'leadership' - as long as they keep in mind that they should lie about those qualities when on the campaign trail. Donald Trump is a man whose entire life has been testament to those particular attributes. He is ruthless, cruel to his opponents, greedy for success and fame, and willing to do whatever it takes to win. In other words, Trump, rather than any kind of aberration, is the ideal poster child for the North American Dream. He is different from the other candidates still in the race only in that he is not politically correct and says what he means out loud before having it polished by the establishment to sound better than it is. An honest president - what a scary thought. Who would vote for that?

I don't think he's an aberration. After the insane Republican race in 2012, he was almost inevitable. That doesn't make him right.
