Why are only attacks on Hews considered to be anti semitic?
In fact, the term was coined by the anti-Semites, not the Jews according to multiple sources including Britannica. In 1879, an anti-Jewish agitator named William Marr called his movement the Antisemites League to try to distinguish his secular anti-Semitism from the religious anti-Semitism of earlier periods. The name stuck and both sides started using it. So, no, it is not a Zionist thing. In fact, quite the opposite.

Thanks, wasn't aware of that specific background to the term.

Interesting!

I should have checked the history. But it should still include the Palestinians aling with Jews.

Why change the meaning of a word that is more than a century old? It will just create more confusion in an already confusing mess of a situation. In fact, changing the definition to make Israeli Jews "anti-Semitic" for their treatment of Palestinians just opens a massive can of worms and probably plays right into the hands of the anti-semites. It solves nothing, just generates confusion and conflict.

What about words millennium old that have been submerged in dark space-time? Out there a gross BH?

In there somewhere a corner to light in ...allay a pyre?
