Hello and welcome to our newest bible study forum. Using the voice of my alter ego, Snoopy, I plan to provide an overview of selected OT readings. Snoopy has already made a few appearances on the Last Post thread here on WC2.
Snoopy is well qualified for this assignment. He is an aspiring writer who often taps on the keys of his manual typewriter while sitting on top of his doghouse. He is a wry observer of the humans in his life. He is an amateur philosopher although not the theologian of the Peanuts gang.
That honour goes to Linus. Maybe you remember Linus reading from Luke's Gospel on primetime television. A Charlie Brown Christmas was the occasion.
Snoopy plans to provide a daily link to an OT reading and offer a few comments. He is usually a dog of few words. You are welcome to join the discussion and we hope you will.
We ask two things.
1. Please stay on topic
2. Please use clear language that will be understood by Snoopy's dear readers.
Snoopy is not seeking any arguments about whether or not he is a true Christian. Or about whether or not he has the indwelling holy spirit. Who cares? Dogs don't worry about these things.
Dogs nowadays get a lot of credit for mindfulness and living in the moment. Snoopy promises to offer you his sincere opinion.
