My wee grandson kisses relatives on the lips at least occasionally. Feels sweet and trusting to me and not in the least bit sexually exciting!

I kiss and hug all my grandchildren. The oldest is 12 and now it seems hugs are sufficient...that's okay, I just try to respect their choices and comfort levels. My wee grandson kisses relatives on the lips at least occasionally. I had a colleague of mine the other day (a woman who is older than me) ask me an interesting question. We commute together to our office and of course solve all of the big philosophical questions and political issues of Society on a daily basis. I'm left wing humanist, she is a very liberal jew, you can imagine how interesting the discussions are! lolShe said in her view we have become very liberal on so many societal issues. Who would have thought that in 2016 we would have had legal same sex marriage for over 15 years now. On so many societal fronts, whether sexual orientation, drug legalization, legalization of assisted death, Canada and Western Society in General looks pretty darn liberal. But in some respects such as whether Victoria Beckham can kiss her daught on the lips, or whether some kid's tank top has a too thin strap, or whatever, we have become increasingly puritanical as a Society. What is it about the lasting power of that old Queen Victoria and her values that they cling on, to our Society. Also how can Society become so liberal in some respects but behave so conservatively in others? I think there is a Sociological Study for a couple of Grad Students in there.
