We often associate Christians meeting in secret and hiding their religious activities with the early church, when Roman persecutions made followers of Christ worship in secret or at least out of the public eye. But here is a story about a Christian sect in Japan that originated in a period when persecution there forced Christians to take similar measures, including cloaking their Christian practices behind Buddhist trappings. After that persecution ended, some of them kept following that version of the faith, even as many moved to mainstream Roman Catholicism. Today, a few followers remain but it appears this "Hidden Christianity" is likely not going to outlive them. It's an interesting snippet of Christian history that I imagine most Western Christians don't know about. I certainly didn't before seeing this piece from The Independent.

Roman was about control ... and then bitching when the northerners hit back ... then it was labelled vandalism ... they couldn't coexist because of intimacy enigmas ... and purity charters ... the flour in NFLD was turned to hard Breads ... weevils and protein ... Cashel frequently reappears ... the spirit of the husk?

The children of another land corrupted ... by adult drifting ... bolting, nailing, annihilation and other cracking ... screwed? Can't wait for maturity ... thus guru's-ing ... bluing still a concern as hanging items ... participles? Syble ends ... like oracles drawing bodies to de*ath ... like Daedalus related to I carious ...

Rieu on the violin ... often appearing in winter charades ... the strings howl! Sadducees ...
