I hate scaremongering. A tangent to avoid the tumbleweeds here. Lol.

I do make a weekly loaf of bread
Ditto. Roughly weekly. I'll make a loaf in my bread machine (whole wheat) for my breakfast and then when it's gone, switch to cereal with fruit and nuts for a few days before making another. I'm in cereal mode right now but will probably put a loaf in on Friday. That will be my last before my vacation.

I make bread and buns as needed and energy permits. Sure would have been nice to have a stand mixer when feeding four kids! and selling at farmers markets. .Once the loaves are cooled we slice them and put them in the freezer. Quick and easy to grab a few slices as needed. Also make sweet things occasionally, I have oodles of UK recipes for interesting and varied offerings. We noticed that the UK recipes have less sugar than the North American versions of the same thing.

Interesting. We do tend to overdo the sugar here sometimes, eh. I think the Chinese get their bakery traditions from Europe. I find baked goods there, when we have them (e.g. they've picked up our habit of cake on birthdays), are less sweet.

At one time powers of monarchy, church and business preferred their slaves to be illiterate ... this may has raised an unconscious fear of literature that may be still in place to the present day. What do you think of this as a ghostly scare monger?

In a world leaning towards AI and robots in the WH ... does this demonstrate an autonomous fear of literacy? Might it be demonstrated in the denial as:
Sticks and stone may break my bone ...
But words will never hurt me,
However they may revel in satyr-like geists (levetating in the shade)!
Then dictionary declares that geist is a spirit sort essence, like alcohol causing DT's if in heavy use. Zeitgeist being a civil mood ... but this too denied because the populace has noting to do with Petered operation regarding principles of avarice ...

The stuff we don't know as materialist is profuse! It is like a gas (methane, CO2) released in high producers. Isn't that a blast ... sometimes a bust? Like economic items that are followed by collapses ... those blinded in the dash usually do not observe the following ... wealth diseases affect many ...

We all are reduced to essence of something or other ...

You may accept this as pure satyr or extensive metaphor and place it with the denied also! The heap of illusions and delusions increases ironically ... mound of prodigal stuff?
