If one ignores the first 4 as vaguely related to research activity ... will there be peace of the simple psyche?

There could be if you were more forgiving and tolerant of others’ varied capacities and interests. Your criticism isn’t limited to Trump.

Academics won’t stop Trump. Somebody needs to offer him a job he likes better. Tell him he could be the best astronaut, but don’t tell him how to get back to Earth. Build him an ornate space station to live in. …wait, that’s so 2001. Too mean, even for Trump. The people need to see the damage he’s doing and decide he can’t lead. It’s the only way.
