How heartless are people? I already know enough about that.

Can we have more love and less self interested and callous knowledge and aggression please?

Luce’s teaching style is aggressive and abusive if you look into it. You don’t push violent concepts on someone (prone to anxiety also) - who has even told you to stop - and call it love or care. I did and then found it repellant. If he thought that would help he doesn’t care enough to know me (that rules him out as Jesus with spooky insight. He has the quality of the latter sometimes but not the former - that’s deceiving). I tried to see the good in it. I looked things up, humoured him, because Randy himself seems like a nice person - but I’m rejecting it now because it’s not wise to deep dive with Luce. It might harm you. He could change that. It’s up to him to decide if he wants to.

“Test the spirits” they say. If you’re interested in that.

Kimmio, if people don't want to play with you by your rules, they won't, and you can't make them. If you are irritated at posters and or postiing styles, please put them on ignore?

Also, using real people's names on an on-line forum is considered very rude. There are rules in the on-line sandbox, and being irritated by another person isn't a good reason to break them. I'm going to report your doxxing posts because I think you know better.

I may be mistaken but I think Luce would understand my reference to the Socratic Method.

I have no problem with his posts.

Sometimes I try to decipher them and other times I just shrug them off.

Besides, by his own metrics he’d say this is just a learning pain. He brought it on himself. I just feel - without solid proof of course - he went out of bounds on a couple of levels, I really feel that, and he needs to understand that it’s not appreciated by me. All I ask is that he change his approach to teaching people and to not push psychological abuse. It happens enough in the real world, too. It needs to stop. It won’t do him any harm to change his approach.

I do only too well (is that profound of me) considering that hemlock is of the family shared with Hogwarts, a vegetation that can take over ... yet if cooked adequately it may feed the lower classes (underworld) when there is not a hell of a lot to come down from up there at peal emotional output. Well we’re here. It’s digital. It’s also a real community - no less real than a pub group - even if some have their own agendas apparently.

We must all be hypocrites.

Do you know that it’s not the digital but the ownership of the digital that’s the problem? Would be callous to remove it for the “fittest” to survive without it. That’s my argument to those who say we don’t need it. If we care about people we do need it. We just need to change the hierarchical nature of control. Those who are severely disabled but intelligent human beings whom it’s been a lifeline for. Shut in maybe due to lack of accessibility in other human built environments that exclude them. Nobody thinks of ‘them’. Some of early pioneers of computer tech we use were disabled. But corporations took over their inventions to market to the masses to get super rich, and they forgot about disabled people in the mess and clamour for money and power. It wasn’t lucrative.
