I remember my friends mother took up pottery after retirement. (when she was around my age now). Turns out she became quite good at it and won a couple awards for her work. I've thought about yoga or taking up painting.....but don't seem to push myself lately. Alot of seniors centres offer these...

I've been waiting for the gas savings provided by the government to offer some relief at the pumps. Wondering why I haven't really noticed much difference. Apparently the more expensive summer gas prices kicked on April 15th (10¢L), so it has basically cancelled out the savings from the gov't...

Not a fan of Walmart's food or brands....

I don't shop much at Costco, even through we have a membership......someone should invent a smaller "seniors" version of Costco for those who don't buy in bulk.....including singles and couples etc.....

Just heard that Europe will run out of Jet Fuel in six weeks if the war in Iran doesn't get resolved soon. Canada doesn't seem to to have this problem because we make our own. But how will this affect Canadians flying to Europe if our planes can't refuel when they get there?

If Trump doesn't "blink" again or the republicans don't stop him, he should be immediately arrested along with Hegseth and others..... And Carney needs to speak out against this travesty waiting to happen more.....along with all G7 nations. Together they should be the ones making the headlines...
