These guys are absolutely bonkers, but man they are good and deserve respect for their art.

    The Mind of Christ

Your fellow Canadian Brian Doerksen has provided an exclusive hearing of his new song and as it's about worship I felt this was the right place to post it, if I'm wrong please move it to the correct place; in the meantime, give this a listen. Here's the link: https://www.briandoerksen.com/new-song

    RIP Betty White

Another bright light departs and the world fades a little more. I loved Betty White, especially in the Golden Girls which I am rewatching on Disney+ she was the mainstay of that show and always brings a smile to my lips, I will remember her fondly whilst I make my way to her Golden age.

Scorpions are one of my favourite bands - Klaus Mein has an amazing voice and really adds something extra to the vocals. @Mendalla have you seen my other site all about rock music - Home you may find it interesting and if you're up for it, register and start adding some bands and artists that...

Like a bat out of Hell I'll be gone when the morning comes...

A legend in his own lifetime and taken from us far too soon. I remember buying the Bat out of Hell album when it first hit the shelves and became an admirer then and there - even down to his iconic appearance in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. R.I.P. Meatloaf.

I love this song and the two artists that perform it. Its a little ironic in a way as Lisa and Nathan were an item for about six months and decided that their careers were not suited to a long term relationship so they parted ways to pursue their careers, but have remained good friends. Love...

The likelihood of finding people with niche interests is almost negligible - there is a veritable graveyard of monstrous proportions of sites that have attempted to cater for such niche groups. Even common interest groups are less likely to thrive in a forum based online theatre over the...

I need to put this into context as there is a wide divide in times being referred to - when I refer to the church being the community hub I'm referring to a time in the UK before Canada was the country it is today. In modern times, I refer to this as my time, the complexes of modern life and...

I'm not saying that communities 'require' a church to be the hub of the community, just that back in the day the church was a hub of the community and gave way for neighbours to meet up in one place, as opposed to the scattered community minded acts of kindness that one neighbour pays to...

    Gone by 2040

It's generally the older generation that promote community - it's what they remember when they were being brought up in the world; in essence they are a dying breed and the younger generation moving up the ladder to take their place are less interested - their community is online, not in the...

    Gone by 2040

At one point in time the Church was the hub of the community - almost everyone in the community attended, if not often at least sometimes. Because the 'community spirit' is almost dead in many places the Church no longer seems relevant in serving a purpose to a vast number of people...

    Netflix & Streaming Services

Probably because it's many decades since I read Foundation my memory of it is faded, so I'm seeing this series through a different perspective and as a TV show it had become absorbing and fascinating. The first few episodes were a little scattered in the telling of the story, but I presume that...
