I'm still thinking about her naming of a particular yellow tinged man. Not sure that public scolding of named person is a good thing. Many people are in the wrong around this situation.

The demand for an apology was totally predictable. The person calling for it has frequently demonstrated that he makes no effort to follow Christian teaching (or common decency and manners). Most adults have learned that going to a religious service leads to hearing religiously based words. One isn't forced to attend. Complaining about the words shared seems ignorant, childish and plain silly to me.

Red is the color of anger and hunger ... then yellow is the shade of fear and those contemplating that they may be eliminated if not pis se doubt ... so some forms of viral infections are removed from the greater bode ... as incarnate ... this may appear alien to the subject form!

Is there a greater example of a character that fears aliens and yet is one? Indigenist ... indignant ... oh the bust of pride ... more downs ... word enigma as one has to connect a great mess of stories, ballads, legends etc. to get to a certain league of depth ... 60 full nesses? Nasty Don qui ... as questionable ... mulish!

Ye 'll get no decent answer from there on mercy B!

Religion is the final and most powerful domain for altruists to dominate.

Like journalism, academia, education, government, the arts, and non-profits, NGO platforms allow for the pursuit of self-interest by performing a “social good".

Religion has the added provision of a sanctimonious pulpit from which to spread a personal ideology as being "In The Name Of Our God".

As a bit of political theatre - this homily was a good as any - but I don't think anything good will come of it.
 
Considering the participants in WC2 share values that are part of the teaching and examples of Jesus, it appears Mystic cares nought for following Jesus.

On social media many people have been saying that, having heard the Bishop, they plan to return to church. If even a few of those people do (and lets hope for more), that's something good I'd say

My opinion as an outsider, a pastor in a Presbyterian church, is that it's both timely and well-written. In particular, I appreciated this sentence, "...the compulsion to dominate must not be allowed to reign."

The people that Budde refers to as the people who pick "our" crops and clean "our" office buildings, who labor in "our" poultry farms and "our" meat packing plants, who wash "our" dishes in restaurants, and work the nightshifts in "our" hospitals will no doubt be lining up at the gates.

At our church’s Board meeting today, I will ask if they want to join me in sending a letter of support to Bishop Budde. If not, I’ll send it on my own but I’m pretty sure there will be 100% support.

Not sure how many different religious persuasions were at the prayer session but I imagine that some of them actually have different perspectives on which people should have been singled out for mercy in the name of their god. Had Harris won and one of those religious "leaders" dared to speak out and focus all attention on Kamala to try to shame her internationally around her policies on abortion, open borders, and no undocumented criminals etc. in the name of "their" god there would have been many that would have also applauded that as bravely facing the "emperor with no clothes".

Which side of the aisle should be allowed to speak out and be applauded on the media circuit as a true disciple of Jesus for claiming the honor of seeking first to humiliate the POTUS on the international stage?

If this Bishop's idea of unity is to further division in the name of god then she succeeded.

I still fail to see the good in it.

If Kamala was acting like Trump is now she would have been called out even by her supporters.

Why do you wokers project hate as the motive for honest moral disagreement? I'm glad people who violate the law live in fear of the conseuqnecese of their illegal actions. I worship the Jesus who opposes the illegal actions of invasions aliens.
