Taste test - McDnds CMO --- Overly salty - kinda' meh - strangely acidic. **

I tried a CBO today. It failed to impress and for a few moments I regretted not having gone to San Frano's (local burger joint which generally rules the roost in Brantford as far as burger joints go) instead.

Oops... yeah... CBO. It didn't impress me either.

This impresses me though - I'm last. :D

Well, I nuked a PC Chicken Korma and warmed up a naan to go with. The ease and elegance of international food at your door step so to speak, compared to my childhood food, sometimes rather amazes me.

Also, LAST.

Pressure filled day - niece and mom were butting heads all day and one-upping each other for bad moods (only thing is that my niece's moods don't LAST - gotta love kids!)...also due to the long weekend the print schedule got bumped ahead so I had to have the paper to the printer TONIGHT! Thank goodness I skipped my appointments Tuesday and stayed home to work on it.

Wow, a LPT poster goes away for a few days and the thread runs amuck.

It's a good thing I am back in my rightful place - LAST!

Tonight is Love ❤ Your Neighbor Night at church ⛪. We will get together to eat sandwiches - and make crafts and cupcakes to give to our neighbors to show them that we love ❤ them - and so does God.

Welcome back, Beloved! Yes, you take your eyes off this thread for a bit, and it completely takes off....

Engagement: Feb. 23/06 I walked into the Post Office and found out that I had gotten engaged on Feb. 20th to a guy from west of town. That is all I was told...postmistress (who was totally not a gossip so it was funny she was involved) said that her source was as reliable as hearing the news from my mom or sister, but it wasn't my mom or sister, so she didn't doubt the story. I told her to go back to her source and get DETAILS! (like a name!) She hadn't worried about remembering any as she could just ask me..She refused to tell me her source but said she gave them hell for spreading false rumours. I did some snooping and discovered there were 5 people who heard the rumour but they were so thoroughly embarrassed that they were sharing an untruth that they wouldn't say who told them...other than it was a VERY reliable source. We thought they may have me confused with my sis, but it was definitely me (library, paper, not married to the "Frenchman") that they were talking about.

The engagement rumour persisted for a while, finally told people it wasn't true unless they saw it on the front page of the Chautauqua. Then about two years later, during one summer week, people entered the library and asked what my husband did as all they could remember me telling them was that he worked out of town. (oh!?!?) When I said I wasn't married, they actually ARGUED with me and said not only was I married but they distinctly remembered me telling them about my hubby, just couldn't remember what his job was. And these are people I've known for years.

So, it seems I've been very happily married for almost 7 years and locals are sure that if they are patient enough, they'll see my hubby.

Wonder how long the rumours will LAST?

So . . . you will be returning the wedding presents right?
