He's considerably fatter and more discolored to my eyes than he was in 2016.
I had hoped that he would have been assasinated before he even started his office- maybe he has a twin and this is already his replacement. I am not getting my hopes up. i have the feeling he would even twitter from the grave

A great many psychiatirsts have strongly suggested he is mentally ill. And takes no genius to see that he has made the U.S. vulerable dangerously disturbed.

It appears many are hard set on not seeing the situation this way Graeme! Says something for the surrounding stuffings ...

People do not like to identify with insanity ... thus the option is to deny it too ... lock any vestige of it up in a stone institution.
Wading through the Clinton book, What Happened, is an unpleasant experience, like a stomach upset. Smears and tears. Threats and enemies. "They" (voters) were brainwashed and herded against her by the odious Donald Trump in cahoots with sinister Slavs sent from the great darkness known as Russia, assisted by an Australian "nihilist", Julian Assange.

The leaked emails of Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta, revealed a direct connection between Clinton and the foundation and funding of organized jihadism in the Middle East and Islamic State (IS). The ultimate source of most Islamic terrorism, Saudi Arabia, was central to her career.

As Secretary of State, she approved the world's biggest ever arms sale to her benefactors in Saudi Arabia, worth more than $80 billion. Thanks to her, US arms sales to the world - for use in stricken countries like Yemen - doubled.

This was revealed by WikiLeaks and published by The New York Times. No one doubts the emails are authentic. The subsequent campaign to smear WikiLeaks and its editor-in-chief, Julian Assange, as "agents of Russia", has grown into a spectacular fantasy known as "Russiagate". The "plot" is said to have been signed off by Vladimir Putin himself. There is not a shred of evidence.

"Libya was Hillary Clinton's war", Julian Assange said in a filmed interview with me last year. "Barack Obama initially opposed it. Who was the person championing it? Hillary Clinton. That's documented throughout her emails ... there's more than 1700 emails out of the 33,000 Hillary Clinton emails that we've published, just about Libya. It's not that Libya has cheap oil. She perceived the removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state - something that she would use in her run-up to the general election for President.

Today, Assange remains a political refugee from the war-making dark state of which Donald Trump is a caricature and Hillary Clinton the embodiment. His resilience and courage are astonishing. Unlike him, his tormentors are cowards.

And now back to your Russia Gate Conspiracy Theory MSM Programming ...
And you see people here buying it. It's working with some.

I'm sorry, but even if said in jest hoping that Trump - or anyone - would be assassinated is way over the top.

That's also what they want to use as fuel to say "liberals" are evil. Don't give it to them.

It is not by accident that the imperative of [Romans] 13:1 is not literally one of obedience. The Greek language has good words to denote obedience, in the sense of completely bending one’s will and one’s actions to the desires of another. What Paul calls for, however, is subordination. Subordination is significantly different from obedience. The conscientious objector who refuses to do what his government asks him to do, but still remains under the sovereignty of that government and accepts the penalties which it imposes, . . . is being subordinate even though he is not obeying.

It is clear from the New Testament that Jesus’ followers did not blindly obey the governments under which they found themselves. Jesus knew that his followers would be in tension with the authorities. He instructed them:

You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

As the story goes ...
This is the sort of thing Christianity is up against. Attitudes like this.

Word Origin Middle English: via Old French from Latin liberalis, from liber ‘free (man)’. The original sense was ‘suitable for a free man’, hence ‘suitable for a gentleman’ (one not tied to a trade), surviving in liberal arts. Another early sense ‘generous’ (compare with liberal (sense 4 of the adjective)) gave rise to an obsolete meaning ‘free from restraint’, leading to liberal (sense 1 of the adjective) (late 18th century).

Once psychopaths gain power, the result is usually some form of totalitarian government or a pathocracy.

“At that point, the government operates against the interests of its own people except for favoring certain groups,” author James G. Long notes. “We are currently witnessing deliberate polarizations of American citizens, illegal actions, and massive and needless acquisition of debt. This is typical of psychopathic systems, and very similar things happened in the Soviet Union as it overextended and collapsed.”

Incredibly, despite clear evidence of the damage that has already been inflicted on our nations and citizens by psychopathic governments, voters continue to elect psychopaths to positions of power and influence.

I think we're overestimating the effects of stupid people, and underestimating the power of the systems that manipulate us into such horrible choices.

Our world is run by psychopaths. I would suspect that a large proportion of billionaires would meet the criteria. I'm going to suggest that the senior admin of Canada's big banks would also do so. It is these people who decide who will be on the ballot in many cases. Campaigns are won by those with the most cash, generally. I think the orange cheeto is a figurehead, although something of a test case for exactly how much "circus" Americans have a taste for - a lot, apparently.

Wishing death on a public figure, no matter how reprehensible he/she may be, could be construed 'Violence and Hate Speech' under the Code of Conduct # 2. We would ask that references not be made to hoped-for assassinations or assisted suicides.
