You can, of course, try to do that "but the word of the Lord dwelleth into without end. Soothly this is the word, that is evangelized to you." - 1 Peter 1:25 (WYC).
Do you recognize the difference between living word and dead letters?

This shift from hunter gatherer to agrarian is noticed in the story of Cain and Abel. We also see it in the history of colonization, where indigenous peoples’ hunter gather societies were displaced (violently) by agrarian society.
True. However, i don't think redemption necessitates a move to primative tribalism - since tribes, all of them all over the planet (we all have ancestors from some tribe, or several) - also warred against one another.

Today we have Indigenous tribes that have an overarching governance model - that is political, involves "voting" - and it is cooperative, and inter-woven, and egalitarian and respects and learns from each other's traditions.

I sometimes despair that we will ever end war and warlike tendencies. I have become more pacifist over the years as I've seen the effects of conflict on the ground in people's daily lives. Family violence, workplace strife, etc.

Most of us struggle with handling conflict in our daily lives. How can we expect the world to do better?
We can start by taking away the means to destroy the planet. As long as that looms over us how can we honestly deal with personal conflict under global duress. It's like global ptsd.

We shouldn't give children matches to play with.

Forget the matches ... I'm concerned about how we give psychopathes keys to nuclear power ... when all they sense is the power to use it as they will! Yet the Minas thing gets the gold ... right?

Matches and children (children with underdeveloped consciences, in particular - but still, those matches are too dangerous and we're all 'children' in a sense) was metaphor.

Wouldn't that be nice. My cynical side says they will find new things as weapons

Tch Tch ... I'm am told cynicism is negative thinking ... especially to the psychos!

Thus I have to act odd to inspect the rank(s) ... thus the PEW I stir ... verging on the borderline of semantic versus episodic memory ... as some people only remember proper things periodically ... tis like contagion in some establishments ... lots of black spots as PIX?

In a world of insane neurology I make a great etude ... as episode I keep coming around with learning ... the status quo hates it ...

Why isn't psychopathy designated an endemic, life threatening, illness?

Because psychopathy, as clinically defined, isn't endemic and isn't necessarily life-threatening. You are using it in a non-clinical sense and only diseases can be endemic.

I really dislike the idea of blaming MAD and global conflict on some kind of mental illness. It isn't. It's cultural, part of the tribalism and territoriality that we carry as part of our species. We are all capable of it, not just a loony few.

This should not be a "we" versus "they" discussion. It needs to be just a "we" discussion because only if every human being can start seeing the species as a whole as "we" rather than just their "tribe" as "we", this isn't going to end well.

Oh definitely. Except it's the children that have the power to make that decision. Ever tried convincing a child to give up a favorite toy?

But many of the we have been denied due to the I-Thou schism and related tribulation involved through adequate distribution of resources for the good of all ... counter pragmatism! The smarts that are out there beyond the psychos is downright depressingly awesome ...

It is a life threatening illness. To others, and ultimately everyone, including psychopaths themselves. I am not talking about how that is presently clinically defined. I think it needs to be looked at as endemic and life threatening.

I think it is a genetic illness, environmentally supported, that has been with us for a very long time, that crosses cultures.

There's something psychopathic in the establishment ignoring it as endemic, too...which shouldn't really be surprising, since it's endemic.
