I looked at that again. What's with Melania hanging out with only brown children? Is there some sort of message here?

There's a blonde girl at the end and a girl with straight medium brown hair with her back to the camera at the end. It is an odd scenario anyway.....

Ask yourself this - would you - in your right mind - be able to act out that video knowing what was going on outside of the White House Gates?

Help me to understand how you came to the conclusions you did based on this video. I'm to assume (for sake of argument) that she thinks the White house is fine. Many people believe it is not only fine but good. The video shows the first lady interacting with children. This type of video is common for most administrations.

I'm not saying you're wrong for the record. I want to understand.

Well, actually no. Those parts of the house belong to the American people. It's a public site. That's not their private living space. Melania is payed handsomely and part of her role is having a say in decorating decisions. People can criticize if they want to. As as Canadian, it doesn't matter but I was following along with the criticism of one photo, and I was wrong to do that. The White House decorating, overall, looks quite beautiful. It always does, and still does. Melania did a nice job. It's very classical.

I know there are more serious issues. Melania is not Donald...and I am sorry I criticized her. It was unwarranted.
The entire house belongs to the American people. Even the private residence. The Trumps are tenants - like clergy living in a manse. But even the public places are still "theirs" in the sense that the White House is the President's house. They can decorate it however they want. Who else would decide how to decorate it?

well
part of that would involve giving up the relatively new Belief System of having all of our morality on human intimacy being based on "consenting adults"?
and that's a very tangled web l indeed
I would replace the word 'consenting' with 'blackmailed' and there is nothing adult about it.

Of course there's a message. It's politics. Everything in politics is a message of some sort. It's a way of saying "Look. The Trumps love African American kids." It's a way of countering the racist accusations.

How about the 'Homeless in Seattle'?
  • Seattle, the city with the dubious distinction of the nation’s third largest population of homeless people,
  • plans to fight that fire of a crisis with gasoline, allotting more than $1.1 million —
  • not toward services, shelters, and programs to help people find shelter —
  • but to erect miles of razor-topped fencing to block underpasses, highway access, and other areas commonly used as transitory encampments.
  • “It’s a statewide issue,” Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) spokesman, Travis Phelps,
  • told the Seattle Times of sizable camps which often return as soon as police perform one of the highly contentious ‘sweeps’ —
  • wherein police force campers out and throw away all their belongings —
  • purported to be for public safety.

Is there a conflict based on the disagreement between adultery and infantry activities? Child in mine 'de bound tensor!

Thus some fights only appear as if someone is screwing the alternate self ... tis stuff of the divine mind ... until they get over this phase ... a domain or isolationism! Truly a mental study in a land where the psyche is out of it for a bit ... once extened they become explicitly internalized ... Shaman in a hole ... just pits ... sometimes taken a s a wormhole ... sponge-like absorption, or adsorption if only on the surface ... thus hard-shoal definition ... tou-gh-rinds ...

Even if the bulk is frightened of the dark ... you know occult things they are not familiar with as an observation ... alien science?

Why there is polity in church ... to amuse what? Isn't that deepest satyr? Some even firmly scripted ...

Action - reaction ... can we learn something from the bouncing characters? Bobbin hoods ... with Freudian Slips as chilling risers out of the late mud ...

Not sure I get your point, but I certainly don't disagree with you. Homelessness is a disgrace. In Seattle, in Toronto - wherever. How Melania chooses to decorate the White House has zero impact on the plight of the homeless.

Dressing things up assists in covering for such mental processes and the homeless being out of mind ... thus adornments of everything ... furthermore internalized tapestries cover up the darkness too ...

It is best if these things are gotten over best as a Passover by Jude-nds ... the best of gods cropped?

I'll take the common, pagan route ... high road versus the low road? What a flip ... like reciprocation can occur in mental process ... some profound grasp required ... thus trumped out falsies ... blunders?

Some call these thick, dense blunders like the pall 've Rome under Nero's activity ...

It's a common trait. London has some 120,000 homeless children. But the British people will spend millions through the Christmas season and after celebrating the marriage of Prince Harry and what's-her-name.

Apparently, you don't watch Suits.:D

I guess that is my point - tax payers money should go to the homeless before it goes to decorating the White House.

What an alien ide-Eire to the Trump Card!

Then should this card be in the hole instead of all out there non-humbly the way it is ...

The amount of money spent on decorating the White House would do absolutely nothing to help the plight of the poor and homeless. Not decorating the White House and using that as the reason would simply be optics for Trump - making it look like he's doing something for the poor and homeless while he's actually doing nothing for the poor and homeless. The problems of poverty and homelessness are deeply entrenched systemic and societal and political problems and a token gesture would be insulting rather than helpful. Now if you wanted to talk about cutting the outrageously obscene US military budget (which I once read is higher than the combined military budgets of the next 15 - FIFTEEN! - biggest national military budgets in the world COMBINED) and redirecting those resources to programs to help the poor and homeless then I'd say you're on to something.

Another point as I look at what's happening in the news - I'm certainly no lawyer, but it seems to me that if the White House legal team is starting to publicly say that the President can't be guilty of obstructing justice then that's a pretty good sign that the White House legal team is worried that the President might be guilty of obstructing justice.
