The light within the light?

were talking Absolutes here, whats whiter , brighter that the Creator?

PS: a few yrs back , I tired and experiment if you wish to call it that , when reading the bible, I replaced the word God with Truth, was quite eye opening, you can do the same with all of Gods Attributes like Love or Grace or Glory ect

Seriously, though, I've got a couple of Unitarian/humanist friends who are drawn to my congregation on a number of levels: i) our refugee work and general community outreach, like our free music program, ii) our attempts at maximum inclusiveness, iii) our progressive discussion group. We've recently been talking about how to keep the word "god" usable for them. It was Dave who suggested replacing "God" with "evolution". It works more often than you'd think.

I see God as more than evolution, though. For me, the replacement for God would be "universe" or "Cosmos" or something. Evolution is part of it, but so are the other forces that shape existence. Then again, I'm a pantheist, not a humanist. Perhaps your approach would be better for someone of that mindset.

"some look at objects for one reason, others for another. The cook and shepherd do not view the sheep similarly: for the one examines it if it be fat; the other watches it to see if it be of good breed. Let a man milk the sheep's milk if he needs sustenance; let him shear the wool if he needs clothing;

That which is spoken may be in the mouth of the speaker: rather not in his voice, but in his understanding"

The truth will remove these veils.

no way dont run I agree,

To be honest, I'm more of a wine drinker. When I do drink beer, though, I prefer something European or a good craft brew. With the commercial off-the-rack stuff like Molson's and Labatt's, I tend to follow Chinese practice (at least I learned it from my Chinese family) and mix it with Sprite to make a sort of shandy.

If there is a white ball, and one person is wearing pink lenses, they will see it as pink. The person with the blue lenses will think it is blue.

It remains white, the Absolute Truth. The different coloured lens represent individual POV.
If it's a real pearl, it could look white, blue and pink. Where the light catches it, or which angle it is observed from - will change how it is perceived.
